	Scarlet	Well, that really narrows it down. Seriously, though, I was at vision council the first day (the 8th), and that was pretty much what was determined then, most of us want to go east. It is only fair to the family. Washington was the overwhelming West Coast alternative, it will likely be consensed there for 2011. So they had a whole other 4+ hours of brainstorming, and essentially decided what we had already decided. 	miriammalka ginamarie emanuel	Hi!  I thought I was the only person pushing for Washington 2011.  I was focalizing all by myself in a rough Neighborhood in Seattle, Washington where the Rainbow Neighborhoood got pushed out by the cops and hard drugheads and needs help but used to be so strong and got sick working too hard because I tend to do that----got some health problems and sometimes don't listen to my body/mind.  Left some laminated materials I had worked hard on and Gathered a few people at New Mexico to speak my Song since I had to leave because i was sick so couldn't go to Vision.  Was working to start a Washinton 2011 coalition ( Believed East Coast had worked hard for 2010 and deserved it, so was planting a seed for the next year).  Now I've been hearing so much that there were other people who agreed and also others that  liked my all alone with a few street kids focalizing even if I wasn't there at Vision and that we will probably have a consensus for Washington 2011 after all even though I wasn't there at Vision at all.  Is it really true?  ginamarie    Posted by miriammalka on Friday, July 24, 2009 - 7:13 PM [Reply to this]

I am glad things have been narrowed down to the east, past 2 years were on west side, now it is time for us to have a easy drive home. I have been a Focalizer for many years in the Neighborhood where I was born which used to be totally Rainbow and Proud, then experienced failed gentrification and now is a war zone. I work getting Street Youth to Gathering as a Street Mom. Worked a little too hard this year. Also did laminated presentation of articles that made us look really good, including one I wrote, for mainstream newspaper, to be presented at Vision Council and left my proxy vote. Too sick to stay for Council so had the presentation done by two representatives ---that's why my vote was proxy instead of presented by me personally and apparently it went down really well. I am recovering at home and may or may not be awaiting surgery, leaning against it towards something less invasive and natural but real sick. 	Luna Rose Luna Rosewood	north carolina would be amazing. I have never been to a rainbow gathering and I live in florida.... which is far from everything except maybe itself. I went through this little town in North Carolina called Dillsboro. By little I mean there are just over 200 people there. It is a VERY art oriented town and there are many local artists with galleries and studios in town.
