Fargo, ND – Steve Shaff is riding high these days, as are an estimated two dozen Democrats that moved to Canada after the 2004 election. "Yep," said Shaff. "Just moved back to Fargo from Winnipeg after two years."

--> -->Shaff is among the rare U.S. citizens who actually followed through on his threat to move to Canada if Bush was re-elected.

--> -->"I don't flip flop," he said. "When I say I'm going to do something, I'll do it.  My friends were like, 'yeah, whatever," but then I totally went as soon as the election results were in.  I cut off contact with all my friends who didn't vote."

--> -->Despite Shaff's predictions, the U.S. did not get attacked by terrorists during the first half of Bush's second term.

Last Tuesday's return to power for Democrats in Congress changed his mind. He officially revoked his revocation of American citizenship and gassed up his Honda Civic to drive back to Fargo.  He continues to live out of his car.

We didn't get attacked because Rumsfeld did his job.
