I spent the whole day in the studio backing a friend, and it was great!!!!  I can't even tell you how long it's been since I've been in a studio -  last one was in CA before Danielle was born, 24 years?!?!?!? Long time.  It felt really good, too.  Once I was comfortable, with a song I've sang the background to since I was 16 or so, I was fine.  Almost all of the music was original, so it was learn on the fly.  Good stuff, though.  I was told to sing like I was THE vocalist.  More fun.  I'm used to singing like THE vocalist when I AM THE vocalist, and believe me, I can blow the instruments out when necessary. It was great. I can't wait to hear the finished product.  Come out to Puckett's next Thursday, and I'll sing one for you.  I wil be THE vocalist, then, though.  Maybe John will be there and I can show off.....
