Firstly For those film makers out there who've sent in films I'll email you all personally ASAP to let you know I've recieved your work. Thanks a lot, they look great. I cant wait ta sit down and watch them.

For those who haven't sent in films yet, the DEADline has been extended to September 9th 2009.
As long as its postmarked this date, you'll be in with a chance. Get em in!!

As you folk might Jero's been full of commitments this year so its been a solo venture this time. He might pop in on the tour if ya lucky and if we even luckier he might even have a movie in. (or at least been roped in Frank Daft's latest cinematic visit into his brain.)
Hopefully Jero will be back to do a bit next year. Hes been missed. Cheers mate!

Along with the usual program on the Friday, Saturday see's me still going strong (in theory) and along with Jay Katz & Miss Death, a Dick's bits odds and ends night.
It'll feature screenings of some of my films I've made over the years made on Social Security loans with the smell of an oily and some dodgy docos about the making of a couple of them. One is entitled 'Social Security Spielberg' (Dir:Mick Bradshaw) about my bumbling adventures making my film 'Pelican Boy' with run ins with gaylord theatre company's verses my nep nazi pirate cast members, police reaids, the spfx, the insanity, blood sweat and tears.
The other (hopefully) is the Snowgum Film's short, 'Talking Trash' on Trasharama, indy film makers and features bits of the making on my film 'Family Bizness'. Im a bit worried because after the shoot they followed me on an eighteen hour drinking bender. mmmm.... (Dir:Daniel Knight)
I'll have other atrocities to show too that evening and answer your questions on film making and running the nastiest touring film Festival in Oz for the last 13 years.,

After the screening at the Loft will be a special performance by legenday Adelaide seminal mental torure noise trash punks, GRONG GRONG!

Reformed after twenty five years after yours truly put on a bushfire benifet gig early this year. Back in the day they performed with the punk legend's the Dead Kennedys and Public Image Limited. A little bird told me Johnny Rotten wouldn't play after they finished support slot till they cleaned up all the offal and blood on the stage. The venue rang them two weeks later to come back and get the maggot infested rotting pig heads they thoughtfully put in the band room lockers. Oh dear..

Loitering in Brisbane around the QLD Trasharama tour will be my notorious dirty filthy trash rawk n roll band KAMIKAZE for a cuppla shows.
They are 30th October at Clarence Corner Hotel with the Vaginabillies (featuring Andrew Leovold-Trash Video) and we playing Halloween at the Globe Theatre.

We are happy to announce the Crown and Anchor have lifted the ban they placed on us after our last guitarist and current Trash hostess Zoey Vaguard was having half naked lesbo make out action on stage while I was out on the streets setting fires to zombie manequinns. Its the stress...

Sunday ' Bloody' Sunday Movie Massacres!!
Myself, under my new porn alter ego, 'The Alien Intruder' and local trash film expert, reviewer, rocker, gossip and fellow ego maniac, Pete the Stud AKA 'The Psycho Cinephile' are presenting 'must see' film screenings soon. The best exploitation, trash, horror, blaxploition film screenings every Sunday at the new improved Forrester' Squatters Arms Hotel. We'll also being sharing trivia and anecdotes about the movies.
I noticed Stud has already put yup a postr and has managed to drag in local drunken punk rock nutbags into the equation!!
The first screening is Sept 20th with Russ Meyer's Faster Pussycat Kill Kill and Class of 84. 6.30pm. Minumum gold coin donation entry.
