Hey everyone!!! :)  Happy New Year!!!

Want to hear some exciting news???  I'm getting married!!!!!    I am so excited!  Some of you have heard the news already, but I wanted to share my excitement with all my MySpace friends.  Her name is Tammy, she is from Australia.  After 37 years of the single life, the long wait is over.  WOOHOO!!! :)  The Lord brought me a wonderful woman.  I love her so much and am so amazed at the goodness of God.

I set up a separate website that tells an abridged version of our story and serves as kind of a "virtual wedding shower" where anyone who wants to can contribute to helping me get to Australia for the wedding and all the expenses involved.  My close friend Sean came up with the website idea and set up the site for me as kind of a fun way to invite friends to be a part of our adventure. 

Neither Tammy or myself have much money and this (two people from different countries getting married) is an expensive endeavor but we know the Lord will provide and are trusting Him to make a way.

I never would have set up a site on my own that invited people to contribute money because that kind of thing never comes easy for me, but after several close brothers and sisters in Christ suggested to me that part of giving freely to others means you may have to humble yourself enough to allow others to give back once in awhile if they want to; especially if the Lord puts it on their heart to.
