FOREIGN BODY IN MY FINGER!
I still plan to do the finger surgery in December, but am not sure when… apparently there is a foreign body in my finger. Which is weird I know. I think it must be a piece of a ring. About seven years ago, I slam dunked a volleyball into a basketball hoop (Ok it wasn't at the regulation height I admit it) and my pinky ring got stuck in the hoop. The ring almost took my finger off, it cut halfway through and there was blood everywhere. I had to go to emergency and they had to cut the ring off my finger. It all healed fine and now, years later, I happen to dislocate the same finger. X-Rays show a foreign body so I'm thinking it might be a piece of that ring. I've had two MRI's but they won't work on the finger because of the metal interfering with the picture. So we'll see what the doc says on Monday.
