I have recently discovered the music site, Bandcamp, and have set up a profile.
It basically allows the artist to post up material, and either give it away for free or sell it for any price they want (as well as listen to in entirety). As a customer, it allows you to choose from an array of formats and sizes (i.e. 320 mp3s, flac, ogg, aac, etc).
The big thing is that when (if) you buy something, the money actually goes to my paypal, where only a couple of small fees will come between me and your gracious "donation" to my life's calling. In other words, you can feel great knowing you've helped support your poor little starving Electricwest.
Of course I will continue to post more and more material up (it's a slow process), much of which will be free of charge. . .
But as of now, my first two albums Together We Fade and Drawing Plans For Delicate Evasion (which are several years old and no longer in print) are up and available for a fair price.
