When I was a kid growing up in Hamilton, ON I was lucky enough to have the Niagara Escarpment right in my back yard. As a little Cub Scout in a green beanie cap and necktie I would go for hiking trips and camp on Mount Nemo in Burlington.
Like most precious natural resources this area is under threat of development and many of us believe that the preservation of it's abundant species at risk and provincially significant headwaters is to maximize it's value to the greater community.
