Those who have been regular readers will remember me blogging about my week at the College of Mediumship & Psychic Studies at Standstead Hall, over a year ago now.  Something happened last night that has brought that amazing turning point in my life, to the forefront of my mind again.

At the time I spent that week at Stanstead Hall, I was stuck in a quagmire of black negativity, self doubt, unworthiness and self loathing with which I had enveloped myself completely.  For the whole of the previous year I had done extensive self healing, involving Native American drumming and working with a shaman, reiki, meditation and other things too.  I'd come a long long way but still I was cloaked in this old friend of self loathing and unworthiness that had been a lifelong companion.

That week at Stanstead cut through that blanket, finally, and allowed me to see through and gave me the opportunity to choose to move forwards.  It was a time of intense emotions and eye popping discoveries.  I learned just how far spirit will go to communicate, the incredible lengths they will go to in order to get through and get their message across and just how very much the want to communicate with me.  We did all sorts of experiments, tried to make it so hard for spirit to get the right message across, but always they came through accurately.  I came away not only believing in myself, finally, but knowing I'm on the right path and my mediumship has gone forward in leaps and bounds ever since.

Whilst at Stanstead Hall, I met some lovely people and some of the most amazing mediums tutoring us.  I also had the pleasure of spending the week in the company of two amazing guys - Geoff and Al Potts, affectionately known as 'the twins'.  They work at Bournemouth Spiritualist Church and they are twins, identical twins and even after the whole week I couldn't tell them apart.  They used to be professional singers and they are brilliant entertainers, funny and a constant source of laughter.  They are both now serving mediums of many years experience and last night they served my local church.  It was the first time I'd seen them since that week at Standstead and I was looking forward very much to seeing them again.

Seeing them again was such a pleasure but I was surprised to find it also a little unsettling.  I didn't expect this feeling but it was there afterwards, quite strong too.  Today, I realised that the experiences we shared at Standstead were often very intense emotionally and I was going through a sort of 'walk of fire' of my own.  Seeing the twins again reminded me of those feelings and I realised just how far I've come.  They remembered me and as we hugged and said our 'how are you's' I realised that that person I was back then was so brave and strong to endure her life's experiences and keep her sanity intact.  Those two guys were always so kind and positive and helpful, always smiling and joking, never once critical or judgemental, humble and unselfish.  And here they were again, the very same.  Two genuine angels of light who walked with me through a very dark place so that I can now enjoy the light of self knowledge, self confidence and spiritual service.

Now and again these very special souls are brought into our lives to help us walk our road and two more innocuous and funny little angels you never did see.  Many would look at them and think "what peculiar little blokes" and you do look twice at them, let me assure you of that.  They are totally identical, short little muchkins no taller than me, but their light shines so brilliantly and they give of themselves so readily to all who need it.  They always draw a crowd when they serve our church, they're quite well known on the church circuit and it was such a pleasure to reconnect with them again.

I doubt very much that they'll ever see this, but thanks guys for your energy and your light and thank you universe for bringing them when I needed them.

We come across many angels in our lives who serve us in our darkest hours. Sometimes we do not realize til later, just what a God send they were. I am glad you got to see these two again.

We are often sent angels without us even knowing. They always come into our lives to help us at just the right time. How fortunate you were and how lovely they sound. Thank you for sharing with us.
