Regular readers and friends who've been with me for the past couple of years may remember the time I suffered a psychic attack. Without going over old ground, a group of wicca women got together and did a psychic attack on me. It got to the stage where I was having physical phenomena happen in my house, I was being attacked while asleep and all sorts. I eventually sent the whole package back to it's source, with the help of a dear and trusted friend who knows about such things and things got better and my life trundled on and here I am today.
Well, today my friend who I did yesterday's psychic fair with, and I decided to visit another local psychic fair just to see what it was like. There we were, sitting having a cuppa and a cake when I decided to actually read the pamphlet we'd been given on entry. You can only imagine my horror when I read that one of the stallholders was the woman who led the psychic attack on me all that time ago. I almost got up and left but then thought "no, bollocks to her, why should I let her still influence me". My friend and I strolled around the stalls and before too long I realised just too late that we were standing there examining this woman's stall and there she was in front of me.
I looked up and right into her eyes, which were staring at my own. A moment passed between us when much was said without speaking a word with our lips. As I looked at those eyes for that split second I saw cold evil. There's no other way to describe it and those who know me will know I'm not one who goes in for evil and demons and such crap, but this woman exuded evil from those eyes. I immediately looked away and put my barriers up and my friend and I strolled along the stalls. When I was out of earshot, I asked my friend to wander back and see what she makes of this woman. When she came back she simply said "she looked right through me, if looks could kill".
Now, this woman trades as an angelic healer, crystal healer, sound therapist and what have you. She doesn't trade as a healer using her own name, she gives herself another name, a name of a Babylonian Goddess. I read up on this goddess and found out that she went down to the underworld declaring that "I shall raise up the dead to eat the living and the dead will outnumber the living". Also, according to the myth, it is said "demons go with her".
It is very trendy these days for new age types getting into spirituality/healing/readings etc, to give themselves exotic sounding names. I think personally that it's totally pathetic and shows a lack of belief in oneself and the wish to pretend to be someone you're not because you don't believe you've got what it takes being your real self, and you're probably right, you haven't. Anyway, it always pays to do a little research into these names before making connections with these people. People choose names that resonate with their psyche, their energy and their beliefs and knowing a bit about the background to these names gives you alot of useful information about the person you're intending to make connections with. Names, when spoken, give off an energy wave, sound energy and the vibrational frequency of that wave determines whether it's positively or negatively charged, it's intent and it's power. People 'become' their names and people choose names to help them 'become' what they hope to become.
This woman didn't use the Babylonian name when I knew her, but she does now. She's obviously chosen her dark path and I was just a practice for her during her time of deciding which path to take. I shall up my protection tonight and for the next few days, which is something I don't normally have to do. I feel I will need to for a little while though.
