Hey everybody....hope you're all doing well. Just wanted to say hi and let you know about a few cool things that are happening.

 

Just got back from playing a few shows in Michigan. Was great to play in the U.S. again...brought back a lot of memories of a few years back when I spent most of my time travelling around from state to state playing shows. Thanks to all the Canadian fans and friends that came down to see me. It always feels good to have a piece of home with me while I'm away.

 

Also...I released "Sand" , the first single off my new CD yesterday.

I'm really looking forward to you all hearing this song. It's a summer sing along that I'm hoping will catch on. Check out my website or facebook if you're interested in hearing a clip of it. If you like it please request it at your local radio station....requests are the reason a song becomes a hit and without you guys it's impossible.

 

Lastly....I'm headed to Africa on Saturday....actually a country called Liberia on the NW corner of Africa. I've always wanted to go to Africa so I'm excited. I'm there for a few weeks and are part of a humanitarian group that will help put water filters in to communities that don't have clean drinking water. Similar to what I did in Peru 6 months ago except this time I'll be getting my hands dirty which should be great. Gonna bring my guitar as well so I can play for some of the kids over there.

 

These are the kind of trips that I really look forward to....when I go on them it always gives me a better perspective on life and what little I need to be happy. My wife Dana will be with me and I always enjoy sharing these kinds of experiences with her. I'll make sure to take some pictures and put them up for you all to see if you're interested. On the way home we're gonna spend a day in Belgium to celebrate Dana's 30th birthday.....any ideas for what I should get her?
