it was one a afternoon in may when I saw her, her smile captured me. at the time I didn't know what love was but I assumed I was falling in love. I kept seeing her in my mind and in the playground. I would say hi and put my head down. I wasn't a very social person growing but all I ever do I was to her. Her lips would say the most random things, from  "Kevin lets go to the swings" to "Kevin lets be friends forever". I never knew that being a friend was going to be hard.  Our lives where so opposite but she know as do I know that we will be in each other lives forever.

                she would come see me and I see her, her parents and my parents  worked together so why not introduce them when young and established a friendship. my parents would tell me how we met. my mom would laugh out loud about the story about how we met.  "it was a cold morning and you where late to class, and that's when u wanted to be treated like a big boy so you decided to walk school alone. so you did"

                 she looked up into the mirror that we had over our sink and said

                "your were walking and then got lost, scared and confuse you started to cry, and them Rosa came out and asked if you where ok. she brought you back home and she went  back to hers."

                she then looks me  with her brown eyes and said.

                "you and her aren't so different, it seems like you molded her but you didn't talk to her till you were 15"

                she gave a big laugh and then said

                "you guys seem to be inseparable  at one point of your lives but it seems nothing can stay like that huh"

                and I say under my lips

                "yea it seems like nothing can go my way"

                Kevin then started to grab his things from the counter , his mother smiled and knew what was on his mind,  Kevin then marched to school.

                a voice from the heaven appeared and said

                "hold on Kevin, you need to calm down and wait for me."

                Rosa with the tendencies of being late slow them down with their journey to school.

                " So I'm guessing everything with you and Lowie are ok now right?"

                she responded,

                "yea I suppose, we talked it out and we are still together"

he laughed and said

                "right, then I shouldn't worry about you anymore then?"

                Rosa then laughed

                "man  you need to only worry about yourself and your paper".

they both laughed and keep walking to school. they both knew something was going to happen but they didn't know how it is going to affect  their friendship, and the love they share
