Well, as some of you know, I was deathly ill about 2 weeks ago with a
fever of almost 103 that broke 2 days later and almost NO VOICE. For
someone who needs their voice to make a living, it is quite stressfull
to get sick. I had to cancel a weekend of concerts. I am normally the
type of guy who can and will sing through any sickness, but this was
one of two sicknesses that I could not push through. However, to only
cancel twice in almost four years is a pretty good track record, I
think.

Well,
praise the Lord, my voice is bouncing back pretty fast, but still
working out some hang ups and kinks. Yesterday, I had a great practice,
because I could hear that my voice is starting to bounce back. This
morning was not the best. It was good, but lacking in a couple of
registers and a couple of notes. Not fun, but I know it is getting
their.

I was able to cheer myself up with peanut butter and
toast. Yay for toast! In fact toast is one of my favorite foods, so in
honor of toast I will recite this great and dynamic poem
