"THE PARADIGM SHIFT" to Screen This SATURDAY at
Cape Fear Independent Film Festival in Wilmington, NCWilmington, NC –
The Paradigm Shift will screen at the upcoming
Cape Fear Independent Film Festival on Saturday, May 2, 10am screening block, at the Brown Coat Theatre - 111 Grace St.
If you know anyone in or around Wilmington, N.C., feel free to recommend spending a day at the Cape Fear Ind. Film Festival on Saturday, leading it off with "The Paradigm Shift." The festival itself runs from May 1 - 3, with various seminars and special screenings. Tickets for all short film blocks are $5 each, and a weekend pass is $35, which gets you into all screenings and seminars. For $50, you also have access to the Awards Ceremony & Trailer Park. So why not spend the weekend in Wilmington?
The Paradigm Shift is about an activist history professor (
played by H. Michael Walls - 12 Monkeys) who assigns his class to design a plan to assassinate the President. The repercussions are immediate for everyone involved, particularly upon the professor’s teaching assistant (
Nicholas Wilder - Flogging Margaret), a timid young man whose reluctance to choose a side plants the young man right in the middle. Also featuring Mary Sharples and Jack Roe.

The Paradigm Shift has previously won the Audience Award at the
Main Line Film Festival in Wayne, PA; Best Student Narrative at the
Peace On Earth Film Festival in Chicago, IL; Best Student Film (College/University) from the
Wild Rose Independent Film Festival in Des Moines, IA for Barr and Holdren, as well as Best Actor from the same festival for the film’s lead actor H. Michael Walls.
