Phil has been asking me to blog about this for a week because he thought it would make a cool title. This is a phrase we never expected to say as parents.
We filled the little kiddie pool in the back yard with water and let the boys splash around in it. David decided to put the bubble blower toy lawn mower into the pool. Next thing you know, Daddy Phil is saying, "Don't put the lawnmower in the pool!" Then he and I burst out laughing. It just sounded silly that he had to say that to a 2 year old.
