Current mood:festive

Hello Boys and Girls,

Nothing says "Happy Holidays" to me like being at my family's house and watching them fight over the last piece of turkey, as I go hide the pumpkin pie in my purse even though my bag's too small, I stuff the pie in there anyway. All while the family dog scooches his butt across the floor and my Uncle Dan swears his hair has magically grown back in after 20 years of having a hair peninsula with a flesh Yarmulke island.

NEWS:

Skope Magazine CD Review: They gave me 4 out of 5!! What did they say?

"How many musicians these days can record an album without a computer and still sound just about ready for an indie record deal?" – of course, that would be a big thanks to the producer of my CD, Rusty DiPasquale, who did such an incredible job.

"The funk laid down throughout "Tempting the Gods" is sure to have crossover appeal outside the standard female musician genre."

"She has a great ass"

Yeah………..I made up that last one. If you want to read the whole review go to http://skopemag.com/2008/11/24/jessica-paris-tempting-the-gods . Leave a comment on the article, tell them you've seen me live, or you have the CD, or that I do have a great ass………if you're drunk.

GIG OF THE MONTH:

The Record Collector, Dec 13: We actually have two really good gigs this month. BUT I'm choosing this one because it's all ages, the band is doing 2, maybe 3 Christmas songs that have been honeyfied, as well as Karen Updike and Kelly Carvin opening. We're playing for 45 minutes and you get to sit right in front of us.

Hope your holidays are great :)  See you at a show soon!

Peace, love, & rock-n-roll,

Jessica
