This is fantastic news indeed. Well, first thing would be to offer it on i-tunes i guess. Then put some on the player here..clips perhaps? Internet is so huge and stuff that most people will hear it all here anyway in the long run. Give it a run on here and then release a 12 to 15 song cd of what are some of your favs. I'm sure people will like it and try it out since we have not heard from you in so long. I know i will. So good hearing from you. HAPPY new year by the way Scott! Keep Smilling

I've got no ideas for you... just wanted to let you know that I hear ya! And, I'm subscribed to your blog here on MySpace, so if you were to send word through here that you had new stuff for download - songs, videos, and regular ol' word blogs - I'm there! Or, here!

I'm happy to hear there's a new cd! Surprised to hear you've got so much other material locked away too, that's exciting. I'll be waiting to hear how it'll come about....somebody will have some inspiration.

Screw I-tunes... Put it on your website... Sell each Album for like 5 bucks... Create a menu of charities or causes people could pick from to donate 1 dollar for each album purchased... You keep 4 bucks....Give something back..We get a warm fuzzy and great music.. How much does Itunes give you for a $9.99 sale? I had this idea in 2001,,, but no one will listen... It is basically an all digital label.... You get other bands to sign up also.. They get 3 bucks charity 1 dollar and the site keeps a buck for the trouble... You can even have the domain I bought NOBSmusic. com as in No BS. I know its the most incredible idea you have ever heard right??.. I will give you the rest of the details at the show if you are interested..

Everyone's suggestions sound great, as long as your music can be purchased in the UK, that would make me happy...

Digital downloads is definitely the way to go these days. It's "green" and with the right site anyone around the world can purchase. That charity idea is an additional bonus for anyone making the purchase. This way it's a good feeling all around.

Perhaps for some die hard collectors of your music, have you considered pressing something on vinyl? Some musicians I know have been releasing their songs that way for a while now.

Wow! Thats good news. I bought your Ringside CD as an import (i live in germany) an love every song on it. I..am very courious to hear the new songs. As some people wrote it would be good to share some songs with your fans in a player, and then we vote for our favourite. A CD with 12 Songs or more should be released as the extract. I prefer more a CD with abooklet and so, but i also would buy it digital from itunes or your homepage. Hope to see you someday in Germany .
Bye from Hannover, Martin

I'm afraid I'm woefully ignorant of the music biz, (other than listening - a LOT) so I don't have anything to share except for encouragement! I can't wait to hear it! To be so prolific, you must have a lot of stuff locked up begging for escape.
I guess we're fortunate enough to benefit from that, so thanks!

Yay, it's so good to know that I'll soon be able hear some more of your work, you Rock man! I'm not sure how all this works, but didn't Radiohead fair well with their 'pay what you want' thingy they did for their last album? Though, you could do a minimum price, &/or charity options. ? 0.

You're talent is worth a price to be able to hear.

i believe i shall visit you with original masters, direct from the mastering lab. do you have a tube amped reciever?! i cannot stand that so many people listen to music on their shite computer speakers. i need to go deaf in the process of listening to a record. i need it to rumble in my chest, to shake my foundation! especially, while making one! the idea of 'digital' distribution only works for me if the audience downloads the file format in it's truest form, not 'mp3's', as they are compressed to fuck and void of any real original dynamics. unfortunately most iPod's don't know the difference. hopefully we do.

I say just get out and tour, MAN!! Then release your music for download on your site...as for the quality of MP3's they are as good as need be. You would need a computer much too powerful to store a music collection the size that many people have if you were too use other more true forms of storage. This is why MP3 format dominates the market. Once we have unlimited storage capabilities (which Is on the horizon) a more true form of storage will overtake MP3's...until then we all must just go with the flow.

Cant wait to hear your new tunes, no matter how they are released!!! And please come North and lil bit West to Seattle and play a bit for us!! :))

I don't get it. You are one of the greatest songwriters ever. You are the consummate storyteller. Miss You, Trixie, Strangerman, Criminal. Your a goddamned poet. Your voice is incredible. You are in my top 5 artists of all time, in some great company I might add. WTF?? Why aren't you touring? You have fans all over the world, not just in So. Cal. I tout you as "The greatest songwriter you will probably never hear." As far as a moniker, you can call yourself anything you want to, it is ALL Scott Thomas. Quit running from yourself.
