First order of business. WOW!!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone who has pledged and helped me reach my goal in such a short time! On Friday evening, I reached 100% of my target, with 58 days to spare. I’m over the moon, as now my album gets a real fighting chance out of the blocks. I will be mastering the record on Thursday, and manufacture of cds and merch will shortly follow, so you should be receiving your stuff very soon.Second order of business. WWWWWOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!
This morning, the target basically doubled with a couple of the big pledges getting picked up (one more remaining of those by the way). That leaves me pretty speechless. What this means, apart from improving my album budget, is that my donation to Musicians On Call is now $3527.50.
In addition, as PledgeMusic has made my charity their charity of the month, they committed to match my contribution. So that will be over $7,000 going to this worthy organization.
Lastly, there are still 7 days left to pledge and a lot of really cool incentives still to choose from. If you wish to pre-order the CD, this is the way to do it, and remember that the more money comes in, the more goes to them and the more I can do to promote my record.
