FRIDAY ART CLASS – FREE!
4:30-5:30pm

No Pre-Registration – Seating is limited to 40 students.

A Parent or Guardian must remain on the premises during Kids' Art Club. Parents are welcome to watch and/or participate in the class. Should the class be full, the children will have seating priority at tables.

Instruction begins promptly at 4:30 — no one will be admitted to class after it has started. Please note the recommended age groups. Families are welcome. All classes are held on the second floor of our Denver store.

Class Descriptions
Paper Bead Art
September 26 • ages 6-12
Using fancy decorative papers, experiment with pattern, color and shapes to design pretty, wild, or funky paper beads. Then make an art piece to hang on your wall or a necklace to wear!

Mini Monets
October 3 • ages 8-12
Learn about the famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet and his artwork. Everyone will make their own Mini Monet artwork using colored pencils, markers and Shrink Film.

Eye-Design
October 10 • ages 6-12
Use eyeglass templates to make expressive eye designs. Draw eyes that look happy, angry, sad, surprised, suspicious, or any emotion you can think of! Then we will punch holes through the pupils of the templates so you can wear your new expressions!

Create your own Superhero
October 17 • ages 8-12
Ask yourself what are your superhero's powers? What do they look like? Where do they live? What are their weaknesses and secret identities? Then create an amazing superhero drawing using our big selection of art materials.

Shadow Puppet Magic
October 24 • ages 6-12
Get ready for Halloween by making spooky shadow puppets using silhouette cut-outs to spark your imagination! Then, learn basic shadow puppet manipulation and put on a chilling puppet show.
