Was just thinking about my son Jeremiah who died in Angola penetetiary 11 years ago mothers day when I checked this. Taj singing a Nola prison song. Thank you for your music that has helped me cope though the years. Peace

Taj ... you have been a musical inspiration since I heard your first album (which changed my life when I was 19, I must admit, having heard nothing like it before or since).

The fact that you are still doing what you obviously love and doing it so well is a beautiful thing. You are still an inspiration. Thank you for years of great music - and for that quote from the "Natch'l Blues" liner notes -- "this is an album by some musical friends - some of whom do not need music to make their song."
