EIGHT
BALL CHOLOS the recently reactivated band that features Burrito (Ex-THE
WARNING) and Tracy G (GOAD-ED, Ex-DIO, Ex-SWIFT KICK, Ex-THE WARNING)
have issued the following update in regards to their upcoming new full
length album and the reissue of their 1996 album, “Satan’s W h o r e“.
The
brand new album which was originally titled “Church of the W h o r e”
has had the name of the album changed to “OBAMACHRIST 666“. The artwork
is currently being designed by world reowned artists Chris Yambar who
is known for his work with THE SIMPSONS.
“OBAMACHRIST 666” will
also a guest appearance by Mark Soloman (THE CRUCIFIED, STAVESACRE).
The album is scheduled for a release in the summer of 2010.
“Satan’s
W h o r e” the band’s 1996 album will be releases as a limited edition
digipak, completely remastered and with brand new cover art (which can
be viewed below). The reissue will include a bonus disc for the first
100 people to preorder the album which contains all of THE WARNING’S
(Burrito & Tracy G’s project prior to formed Eight Ball Cholos)
demo’s for the first time on CD.
The reissue is scheduled for a release in late 2009/early 2010.
