Hello lovely people
I hope you're well and have been enjoying the bits of sunshine we've been getting recently! Firstly I'd like to say a big thank you to all that came to the gig at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen. It was lovely to see such a big crowd there, the support was immense!
So as you may or may not know, I have a gig coming up on Bank holiday Monday 31st August for the Carnival! I absolutely love Carnival, and have been going since the age of 7. But instead of bogling in the street to Elephant Man, I'll be singing my lungs out and Headlining at The Paradise in Kensal Green.
As this event's a special occasion, we'll be posting out special hand made ROX whistles to anyone who sends an e-mail to hello@thisisrox.com with their full name and address, confirming they will be coming to the show. Not only will you get the lovely whistle, but you'll be confirmed on the guest-list, which will give you a reduced rate entry at £5 instead of the full £10. I'll be doing a 30 min set with the band, including a special cover! Also the event will be filmed, so wear your best string vest!!!
I'll be onstage for 9PM, but there will be a couple acts before and after me. Also the Rumble strips will be holding a night downstairs, so make sure you get there early to get a good space! And if you feel a bit peckish, fret not, the paradise does great food!
