With the seperation of our band, Murkadee, we've decided to undertake one last album, to go out on a high note and enjoy working with each other and our friends one more time. As part of this great project, an idea was born to get more people involved. We will be collecting index cards with art created to promote the final album, which is to be named Hislop. The cards will be displayed on our myspace, in our promotion for the album, and hopefully many more ways that will strike us as we have them coming in...

HERE'S the deal!
 You can do whatever you want. If you want to do a little pencil sketch, that's cool. If you're down with collage, make a collage. If you want to make it really fancy, and you whip out all sorts of paint and do it up hard core, that's cool too. The only guidelines are that we have a theme we're shooting for: the art should be some representation of optimism in the face of adversity. Also, you need to include "Murkadee new album - HISLOP available March 2009" some how, some where in the piece. Feel free to take liberties, though, because we've always been pretty reckless with our own art. Hah.

So if you're interested, please message us. If you don't, and we REALLY want you to make one, we'll nag you. SO there.
