Today, I noticed that people have actually subscribed to this blog, so I thought it was maybe time for me to post. . . um, something of substance.
So, instead of posting these to my LiveJournal first, I'll post them here first.
The following two courses are completed (though not approved yet; the LG Preceptor is working on it):
This means that I have finished the Liturgist Guild Study Program (again, pending approval).
I have a lot of MySpace stuff to catch up on: looking at 'friend requests' and answering a lot of messages (there are so many people I want to get back to, and I think I've had time to type out a two-line message in response to something someone sent me within the past three or four weeks.
I missed my ten year high school reunion, and I've heard from friends who were there that I didn't miss much. I figured I didn't need an excuse to get drunk and feel awkward at yet another high school dance, though, and so I chose to be somewhere else instead. It worked out since I had a prior commitment that weekend
anyway, but I feel remarkably good about not being there.
I'll be at both the
Summerland Gathering and the
Midnight Flame Festival in the coming weeks. I'm excited that I get to drive up to Midnight Flame with Kirk, who is always pleasant company, and I'm excited that I get to see so many friends at Summerland.
I'm also very excited about September 22, which is
our Grove's fifth anniversary (apparently, this would be our "wood anniversary", which just has too many funny connotations for me to even start thinking about what I'll be doing for it). It amazes me that the Grove has grown so strong in five years, and that it has so many amazing places it can still go.
Now, back to getting stuff done. Maybe one of these days I'll get back to all the stuff I want to do on MySpace. We'll see :)
