There's been quite a few people asking us why we changed our name. Here's the reason why:

Follow The Ember didn't have any type of meaning and we wanted a name that meant something and really fit us. To us, KathariK means releasing of emotions through music and we think that fits us perfectly.

We think FTE was a great name. It makes people follow the motions and emotions of the burning Ember in you souls, and your souls are the evolving flames that keeps music alive. Just like the sparks that inspire you to release emotions through music, you are a leader in the metal music word and leaders will be followed. The Ember powered by the sound of a five member group creating music through thier feelings and emotions that inpire people to listen to your music. $$$$$$
We think we should take apopular vote about the name change!!!

very interesting view Mike! I am guessing that we shall see ... cuz it's just a guess but I don't think there will be a vote. love the band no matter what they call themselves. I remember when Hootie and the Blowfish came out, everyone was saying WTF?! It started a whole generation of strangely named bands... look at the grunge band names... it's all CWAZY! CWAZY FUN AND CWEATIVE! I would have used my Daffy Duff voice but it's too hard to spell that way. See ya!
