We're sad and glad to say we're letting go of our current location (eVocal Zone) here on 19th St in Costa Mesa. :(

It's been a great 3 year run inspired by all the talent we've met and the support we have had from the community. We've showcased all forms of art, hosted 100's of shows and featured artists of all ages, races and walks of life as we submersed ourselves in the local art scene and provided a venue for exhibition. A space such a eVocal is much needed to ensure awareness for art and culture in our society. It's important to set deadlines and goals to inspire artists to create and practice their form. A 'destination' or 'outlet' for exposure adds to the fuel needed to drive productivity. To 'share' is to experience one of the satisfactions in art - being in the moment (creating), exhibiting (sharing) and connecting (being captured).

We have to find a way to put such a place in cities across the country and the world, but in the meantime the future of a Costa Mesa location is in question. ?? We, at eVocal have worked hard to maintain the facility and keep it open for the local community to enjoy and benefit from and we are grateful to the volunteers who've contributed time and energy to help with that effort.  We are also grateful to all the artists, bands, friends, family and fans !!  who've been the life blood of the past three years and the reason we have fought so hard to stay open. It's been a struggle, a pleasure, a headache,  a joy, a roller-coaster of emotion and a life changing experience.  It's was really difficult to come to the decision we've made but we have to focus our attention on the next steps needed for eVocal to grow as a organization. We're currently creating a division and filing for non profit status to seek the funds needed to ensure there are creative arts exhibition spaces, events and education programs in effect to complement our artist development program.

Our community service commitment here has drained resources and slowed big picture progress. We're about to build products, populate the website with content and gain proof of concept.  We're planning to step out the box, do shows at other venues, go on tour to spread the 'Vocalism' word, gain exposure and launch the eVocal brand.  We need to invest in infrastructure, implement systems needed and generate the revenue needed to sustain and model our program.  We can then reinvest in breeding the culture, offer to support other emerging artists and then look to reopen an eVocal 'Zone' such as we've had (gallery / boutique / event space). We still have the eVocal artist development 'Lab'  in Costa Mesa which we've had since 2001 and will continue to run the operation from here. eVocal is about to launch a collection of artist brand products and will be showcasing our core family of featured artists.  Look out for the release of Jesse Miller's Greensun series online and in partnership with retailers across the country. We also have a collection of eVocal logo, brand icon and statement driven designs.  Our line of tee shirt graphics and art pieces are a result of a collaboration of artists.  Unique designs, original art and novelty treatments define their identity...  each consciously constructed and positively charged!   

The arts industry needs an alternative and 'Vocalism' is the way forward.  A support infrastructure and launch platform for emerging artists...  building artist brands, creating crafts and getting these products in the hands of consumers.  We will be putting artists into business making use of technology, processes / systems we've researched and developed.  Support emerging artists, stay tuned as we continue to move forward with our battle to establish an alternative and new arts industry standards benefiting artists and consumers worldwide.

If we want to see the positive change we all need, we need to advocate a conscious way of life and promote more art in our society. The youth are our future and we believe that through art, we can influence them to be the change we need.  Be aware of how you spend your money, who you get behind and affiliate yourselves with and stay true to what you believe in and who you connect with.  Artists are the soul of our cultural society. Art has such a great influence on our lives and it's time to realize it's importance.  Please do your part by supporting all emerging artists, shopping indie and by making socially & eco conscious choices whenever possible.  Keep a look out for up and coming new eVocal releases, news and events as we push forward toward our goals...  Get involved, build your own brand, stay close...   eVocal is a a support network, an art coalition, and collaboration nation...   With your love and support we will fuel the arts evolution and help to provide a much needed solution...
