Marlette was pretty cool, had a kiwi straw slush puppy, haven’t had one since 8th grade, we played well, the crowd was diggin us so it worked out...so, then after saying our good byes we made our way to Lincoln…..stopped for a bite to eat at Arby’s then found a nice place to sleep in a bowling alley parking lot….at about 5 am the cops were knocking on our window shinning their lights on us…..we were the only car in the parking lot and the alarm at the bowling alley was going off so we all had to wake up out of a dead sleep, show them our ID’s and we found out that Munk had a warrant for his arrest, then we had to drive 20 min out of the way so we could to pick him up at the station…..Im just kidding….they were cool with us sleeping there….so we slept for 3 more hours, then woke up at 8 and continued our drive…..
Day 5……Lincoln, NE

hmmm dont really remember what had happened this day, one second..............
oh right we got an early jump on the 13 hour trek with Ryan driving a few hours from marlette. blah blah blah it was a 13 hour drive nothing interesting happened. lots of cows.....oh yea and "The World's Largest Truck Stop" Iowa80! cool as hell, i saw something about this place on tv so we stopped for a bit, refueled, got some food, oh yea and sat in a few mack trucks....sweeeet . Left there, crossed over the famous Mississippi River, then took a tour of the University of Nebraska. tried to get some poeple to the show but apparently it is dead week and kids were being lame. Oh well...... Thanks Deb and Rett for the free drinks, and the Sidewinder shots. Very cool venue, the bands played, we locked the building at 12 then the real party began. 3 bands combined into 1 drunk ass music playing machine. holy hell that was a good time......... around 2:30 central time the night turned into a slumber party in walmarts parking lot...
Day 6 - Ft. Collins, Co
We woke up at 8:30 and Ryan was toooo hung over to drive in the morning so I took the wheel and drove 3 hours across Nebraska. We crossed into Mountain time and arrived in Colorado, after passsing through Wyoming. Checked out Surfside 7 to get the details for the show, talked to some wacked out hardware store dude who inhaled too much jet fuel in the airforce, he made us an extra truck key so go him....got some $1 red stripes, and now we are chilling at Starry Night coffee house keeping yous updated on our journey to the west coast.... Now were about to go unload the truck now and rock the shit out of Ft. Collins, hell yes!!!!
