Last night, we had a lil get together at Mike & Angie's place for the softball team and friends. Everyone was having a great time and so was I for the most part. I hadn't been feeling good all day, but I didn't think it was bad enough to keep me from having a good time.
Take in mind that I do NOT drink alcohol, just water. Later in the evening, I kept feeling like I couldn't catch my breathe and it was so humid. I wandered around trying to find a cool place. I managed to make it to the patio and sat down in front of the fan. That's when everything started going downhill fast. I took out my phone and was able to send a text just before blanking out. The next thing I remember was having everyone standing around. I slowly regained conscienciousness as ice and cold compresses were applied to cool my body temperature down. I'm still unaware of what exactly happened, but I've very grateful that I was around such great friends that knew what to do in that type of emergency. Without them, it's a possibility that I wouldn't be here now to write this.
Thank you to all my friends that were there! I'm forever grateful for your actions. I love everyone of you.
