On Saturday we did a gig with Pilot at The Perfect 5th in Tauton - really enjoyed their set, they really put on a performance, which I love to see! Nice guys too.

Pilot are that rare thing currently, a band with 80s influences who actually have their own fresh sound and don't overdo those disco rhythms. In places I was reminded fondly of Disintegration-era Cure, Joy Division and even early Sisters Of Mercy, but never in that obvious way where a band wears their influences on their sleeve. They have their own thing going on, and I really like it!
