I should hope that Alison is well aware of everything you stated in your post, Ghost Rider. I haven't had time to watch the show yet but from what I can gather, her role is largely edited down to that of just a validator. My guess is that she thought it was going to be a better chance to reach the fence-sitters with some healthy skepticism- and it didn't turn out quite that way.


Kudos Alison on getting your own show, it's nice to know that there is, at least, a skeptical voice in the production room.

 

Door to the Dead was a show about my house and my family and yet because I was trying to defend myself on the trutv forum I was banned forever on there. I don't hold to highly of a company that would let others make any remarks they feel right about everyone on a show and then kick off the one that the show was about. And then keep the previews of the show on their site. I think trutv is do as we please and keep the ones we want on there because they are the ones that keep the science part of it going to make it more interesting to viewers. JMHO. I use to keep my tv on trutv but after being banned forever for saying something that meant little of nothing I don't even turn it to it. I guess I would if there was a show that I wanted to see but it is not because of trutv believing in the truth. That is a joke on their part. Why use a family and their home then ban them for defending their self in words that were not bad. I was the same as called stupid and ignorant on that board but those people are still on there posting away about everyone and anything that was on the show. Now tell me the reasoning behind this.

I just wanted to remind you that the Tru-TV board is a *public* board...The psychic and paranormal bashers on that board (you know the two I'm talking about) don't just bash psychics, the paranormal, and those who believe in them, they also continually put down Tru-TV...It is the moderators of the board who decide which folks have crossed the line (as far as their rules go) and get banned from the board, and which people just get a slap on the hand...I do believe that the moderator (Coldwater) lets some people get by with more than others,-- but this would be difficult to prove.

I know and I think I will just let them say what they want to. I don't really care as long as it is not about my kids or grand kids. I think that is about the sorriest board I have saw as far as having a mod. on it that done their job right though. Oh well nothing can be done so I have decided to let it go. Hope things are good for you. I have been down for a while sick and now my migraines are back so I have been in a dark quit room for a couple days. Gonna be there a couple more looks like.
