Should radio finally pay?  There has been a battle brewing for quite some time now – actually going back to before 1935 – over whether radio should pay a performance royalty to the musicians and the companies that produce recordings that are aired on radio.  Called the Performance Rights Act, it would require broadcasters to pay royalties to air recorded music.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if there was no advertising on the radio?
