ADNAUSEAM "Lives Of Lies, Despise And Demise" 2001 CD (Independent Sickness Records)  Rising from the land of South Park, Columbine High & snow dusted mountain tops is Adnauseam the death/grind skullf*cks. Unlike most bands this barbaric and f*cking bone grinding Adnauseam likes to dose up on melody & rhythmic riffing never to the detriment of the extremity which rages on unabated. "Lives Of Lies." though steeped in depravity likes to hop scotch from dense doomy sections to thrashy headbang material and straight on death metal torso ripping, Sherman tank on speed insanity. They are pretty even handed, walk silently with a big stick in approach and delivery. Judging by the song titles alone the lyrical contents are scraped up from the grungiest, dirt and grim filled gutters. They top off this finely produced record with cool and timely movie samples all wrapped up in a nice package with deep, desperately on the edge of mental instability - clear growling sprinkled with higher pitched crack addict in withdrawal at detox screams of pain.
