Well - this is the weekend I didn't get to have last weekend, since I was laid up in bed the whole time with the flu.  I feel like I haven't had a weekend in a long time.

My profile song is a bit deceiving - it's about being pulled from God, and being tempted by the sins of this world.  In reality, I can't be much further.  I have so much peace right now in my life.  I added the song because I love the music, and it's just a great song.

Today I'm starting back up a study about John's letters that I started about 10 years ago - I KNOW.  I started it with a group of friends and we just never made it past the first chapter.  I'm amazed at how much the Bible opens up to you when you give your entire life to God.  I liken it to someone realizing what someone means to them after they're gone.  Never really getting it until that moment.   Sometimes you're just not able to.

This weekend I plan on spending some quality time with my family.  This weekend is Josh and I's date night.  Just me and Joshy.  He wants to see a movie.  Hopefully there will be something out appropriate for a 9 year old.  If not, we'll find something fun to do.
