On Saturday, NOVEMBER 14, Miguel Cima brings his documentary, DIG COMICS to JHU.  And we’re having a panel discussion with some of comicdom’s biggest brains as well!  Come check it out; Miguel is a personal friend of mine and this documentary has been getting tons of rave reviews all over the country!

On Saturday, November 21, our very own resident cartoonist, Rachel Freire will be hosting a Comics/Comedy Night in the JH Underground!  Some rising stars, and an open mike...if you want to laugh, bring your touchas down!

We have a few more events for November, but we have to hold off on announcing them until next week.  BUT, we can announce our FINAL signing of the year...and it’s a doozy!

For our YEAR END SPECTACULAR, we are bringing in STUART MOORE (Wolverine: Under the Boardwalk), FRED VAN LENTE & DENNIS CALERO (X-Men Noir 2), DAVID GALLAHER & STEVE ELLIS (High Moon and the new Winter Guard mini series).  And possibly more!  Come in on WEDENSDAY, December 2nd at 6:00 and don’t be late!!!

JHU Game Nights @ The Underground are still going strong!  For the uninitiated, Game Nights are now Monday, Thursday and Friday here at JHU 33rd Street, and Friday and Sunday in New Dorp.  Thursdays will always be TYPE 2 Tournaments (aka Standard Construction), Fridays (or Saturdays, as the case may be) will always be Draft nights & Sundays in New Dorp are open for Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon and Magic!  Every Monday night Jim Hanley’s Universe in New York City is open for casual gaming! Bring a friend or a playgroup from 6PM-10PM to play your favorite trading card, role-playing, or collectible model game!
