Current mood:  animated

Once Obama has taken office, and surrounded himself with the same
people that McCain would have appointed to cabinet positions, and
nothing has changed that really matters in our lives, how long will it
take for the Sheople to realize that they are still being sheared?

When the soldiers are still in Iraq, Afghanistan, and 100 other
countries, and the pharmaceutical industry is still poisoning with
daily doses of lethal chemicals, and food is still being
genetically modified, and depleted of any nutritional value, is THAT
enough to get people to say, 'NO!'?

When the skies are still being filled with barium sulfate and aluminum
oxide, and the currency is still being trashed by pyramid monetary
policy, and Social Security is even more in the red, will THAT be what
wakes the masses to realize that NOTHING changed?

When the new President keeps the 'Free Speech Zones' behind barbed
wire 500 yards from where the action is, and the borders are STILL
wide open to the current invasion of the U.S.A., and AT&T CONTINUES
to spy on every phone call and email, and billions of dollars continue
to disappear down that rabbit hole called Israeli government, will
THAT be enough?

There is one peaceful way to stop these EGREGIOUS VIOLATIONS of the Creator-supplied human rights from happening!

JUST SAY NO.

If everyone STOPPED working, purchasing, consuming, watching TV,
buying newspapers, TRADING STOCKS...for just 7 days... the machine
would starve.

130 million people doing nothing for one week could restore a Constitutional Republic without violence.

DON'T FEED THE HAND THAT BITES YOU. (copyrighted lyric from song called 'Just Say No' on upcoming Element 115 CD).

...and for God's sake, can you stop electing the same masters that you
elected last time, and the time before that, and the time before that? (Republicans, Democrats, all the same.)

I love America. I want America back. Now you know how to get her back.

Do (not) work.

I actually really like my career and job a lot. I have worked very hard and sacrificed a lot to get to the point I'm at in life. Walking away from all my hard work, dedication, and ability to make an actual difference in life is not an option for me. It actually sounds to me like a really bad idea.

All food has been genetically engineered since the beginning of agriculture / human existence. As humans, we have found strains of plants that are more environmentally hardy and produce more consumable product/produce. Some strains have been discovered to be more resistant to disease, insect infestation, and bacterial contamination. These strains have been singled out over time by not only scientists but everyday farmers. Some corn, for instance, has been designed for feeding animals while the sweeter stains have been isolated for human consumption. Please do not ask me to give up my sweet corn.

Ultraviolet radiation is very useful for growing vegetables..., synthesizing vitamin D through direct contact with skin, and is very useful in decontaminating bacterial and viral infections of all sorts. But, most people hear the word radiation and assume that it is the governments way of killing off the masses.

I work in the medical profession and strive everyday to provide quality patient care that saves lives and helps those that are at the end of their lives.

Pharmaceuticals actually have saved lives and extended the average life span of humans. I guarantee that if you were facing a life threatening illness or infection you would be more than willing to give those drugs a try. Holistic medicine is always an option. If it works for you, great. However, for the vast majority of people with an illness like septicemia, without pharmaceuticals, most of those people would die.

As far as politics go, I do what I can. I vote, I vote, I vote for the person that best represents me. I will agree that the system is flawed; however, this country is still one of the best places to live in the world. I love America, too. I love the opportunity that I took advantage of. I am living the American dream. I only wish the same for you.

Thanks for your views, Doug. I don't think you caught the gist of the suggestion, however.

I'm not saying we should stop working forever. What I'm suggesting is a temporary injunction against the machine, a general strike. This method has worked in several countries, not the least of which is Greece.

We have an out-of-control government who ignores the Constitution like it was some piece of crap put together by dimwits. In reality, the economic chaos that has put you and the posterity of this country into nearly 6 figure debt EACH is because of our government deviating from that document of genius. I shouldn't have to pay banks who lost the money they created out of thin air, and neither should you.

If your GM sweet corn tastes great but has nearly ZERO nutritional value, do you wish to continue consuming it to the detriment of the mineral requirement of your body? When you can no longer get the vitamin and mineral supplements required to make up for this robbing of nature, because of codex alimentarius, will you still be thankful for the GM techniques?

Ultraviolet radiation (in UVB and UVC ranges) is destructive to DNA.
If the goal is to get as much life energy from our food as possible, what is the limit of "safe" irradiation? What about microwave radiation?

While I agree that there are times where medicine is needed to jump start the immune system to kick an aggressive invader, I don't believe that ANY medicine should be a life-long purchase. Any medication which doesn't get the patient on the road to cure and self-healing to me is a rip-off. The job wasn't done right to cure the disease, and in those cases, the pharmaceutical industry is nothing but a heroin dealer with a license.

The low-level military man thinks he's protecting our freedoms Doug, but he's wrong. He is enabling the destruction of millions of innocent lives while propping up oil corporations who don't give a damn about our freedom, as long as they sell more gasoline (which is obsolete with our current technology potential).

By the same token, many in medical research think they're creating miracles, when they are really just creating a new heroin for some sucker to be told he has to purchase for the rest of his life by a quack who gets a kick-back for prescribing it.

As far as voting goes, you're wasting your time. Voting machines all over the country have been witnessed as changing the vote before the voter even leaves the booth. Besides, when both "choices" are nothing but puppets for the same group of masters, it doesn't matter which you vote for. They are two wings of the same bird of prey.

The American dream died several decades ago, Doug. Private property is confiscated on a grand scale by "law enforcement." Your phone calls and emails are monitored constantly and without authority. You can now be arrested, sent out of the country, tortured, and held without charge or representation. Just because it hasn't happened to YOU doesn't mean it isn't happening to others. In fact, it is. One food club was raided by SWAT and the food confiscated without due process of law. Kids are being SWAT raided at gunpoint in their schools as DRILLS, not when life or limb is in jeopardy.

I want to live the American dream, Doug, but the thought of where this trend of Constitution violations is leading clearly indicates the demise of America, and the institution of the North American Union, which is only a hop-step from One-World government.

Wake up, Doug, your dream has become a nightmare while you were peacefully consuming.

I agree with most of what you have said here. I believe I would like to meet you sometime. Maybe it is time we come out of hiding and show ourselves in numbers. The fear of being singled out for being different is becoming a moot point as time goes on. I no longer work in a job that has control over that fear, and no longer fear not having that job. Of course I am poor now, but it feels better to slowly be able to be myself again in public. I think you are really cool and feel more of us are rising above the machine. Thank you for inviting me to be your friend here

I have peacefully consumed so that I can get to work and my kids can go to school and have food on their table. I peacefully buy things like food, clothes, shampoo, computers, and cars. I do this for my own good as well as the good of the economy, Michele. I also buy USA made musical equipment for my personal entertainment. I do not own a TV – foreign or US, however.

I do not understand your mentality of wanting a "general strike" against this country. If I did not show up for work for seven days, I would most likely be out of a job. What good do you think that would do me or my family or this country for that matter? To what end and point would that prove besides the fact that I am jobless and cannot provide for my family. Please explain the point of your "general strike" against a country that is already in serious trouble. I would like to know the point or your proposition.

In the last 8 years, this country has gone from a huge surplus to the largest deficit in the history of the world. I do not like that fact at all! I completely understand this country’s debt, the general population's debt, and our position in the world with regards to it. In my experience, I do not see private property being confiscated by "the man" on a grand scale and as a general rule as you would like us to believe, Michele. I see people who are over extended and breaking the law losing their homes and property. I see wealthy business people from other countries buying up the most valuable property in all of our major cities. If I had that kind of money, I would buy it, too.

My dream is not a "nightmare". It is a reality for now. Sure, anybody, at any time can be arrested by "the man". Sure, anybody at any time can experience hardship and the loss of everything. I agree that some of the constitution has been trampled upon. It sounds to me, however, like you have given up on the dream, Michele, and that you are asking others to join you on a path that does not make logical sense.

The last 8 years have proven to be a backwards step in many ways. The "New World Order" is just getting started. Many people in this country and the world hate the US for what the US leaders have inflicted upon them. Many people in this country think the current administration is the best this country has ever seen. They, however, are no longer the majority.

I agree that there is no real difference between the two major parties. However, no one said you had to vote for either of those two parties. You can write in anyone you want. Are there discrepancies and voting fraud? Yes! I disagree, however, that voting is "wasting my time". I will assume that because you think voting is a waste of time of time that YOU DID NOT VOTE.
If that is that case, in my opinion, you forfeited your right to even talk about politics in a public forum let alone ask people to do something with regards to our government!
I would be all for a "one world government" if that meant we could have peace on earth and no war with equal treatment for everyone. I am all for genetically engineered food if it means a surplus of fresh food and water for the starving masses. I am not against technology as you appear to be, Michele. The system we have works for a few. With time, all things change. The goal is to strive for a positive change and the betterment of more than just a few. You seem to resist change at all cost, Michele, while others embrace change and realize that change is inevitable.

I see no evidence that genetically modified foods (or genetics in general), which includes everything (every food has been engineered since the beginning), has diminished the quality or nutritional value. I see just the opposite. I see an average life span that has gone from 35 year to more than 80 years and all in less than 100 years time. My oranges, limes, and spinach still have vitamin C and my bananas still have potassium. My porterhouse steak and pork chops that I peacefully consume still have iron and protein and vitamin E just like they always have. If you have proof that this is not the case, please put forth the evidence for the entire world to see. Every food has been engineered from the start. That is not an absolute bad thing. Science and technology are not absolutely bad things.

You are right, ultraviolet radiation does change DNA - it cooks it! Fire alters DNA to the point of destruction - the proteins are being completely altered. Heat from an oven also destroys DNA as does chewing your raw food. The enzymes in your saliva and gut destroy and alter DNA. Your argument, in my humble opinion, is weak.

Humans are a child race with many lessons still to be learned. Humans are just getting started technically and socially. If you were to measure human knowledge using a tape measure against a wall, you would see that humans are but a mere inch off the ground with advanced knowledge and technology being inches from the ceiling. Perhaps there is a plan you or I are not smart enough or technologically advanced enough to contemplate.

In the mean time, I’m going to live my life to the fullest and enjoy helping the people and country I love.

When 9-11 happened, (an inside job, I might add), the alleged President came on TV and told us all to KEEP SHOPPING. That was a clue to the government's Achilles heal. If we stop shopping, they can't continue to fund the invasions of foreign countries, the stealing of those countries' natural resources, and the continued propping up of a failed economy to the detriment of more debt to posterity.

You yourself, Doug, point out that we've gone from the world's creditor to the world's biggest debtor! Do you think that can last forever? Have you researched the coming Amero and North American Union at all? Do you honestly think we can continue down this same path of economic destruction without a bad collision with poverty at the end? If WE don't make a change, WE will all eat the proverbial dust.

Perhaps you are too young to remember what REAL tomatoes and REAL steak tastes like. That's not your fault, most people can't remember what a sky without chemtrails looks like, either! Many of us DO remember what real food tastes like though, Doug, and it isn't what it tastes like now. The taste left with the nutrition. Look at the American people. They are fat, and unhealthy. This is due primarily to lack of nutrition in the diet.

If you don't see private property being confiscated by "the man" then you aren't looking for it, Doug. From the confiscation of private guns during Katrina, to Kelo v New London, to the case I mentioned above where people's FOOD IS BEING STOLEN BY SWAT TEAMS, it is happening all over this country.

Your reaction reminds me of a saying from Niemoller...

"In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;

And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;

And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;

And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up.
"

I'm speaking up for all of us right now, Doug. If you would do just a little research on general strikes in world history, you would see a record of success for change of the balance of power in favor of the people. Every person who ignores the violations by this government of the Constitution, provides for fascism for the posterity of this nation, and the eventual demise of the formal United States.

As an aside, please note the spelling of "Michael.
"

I apologize for interrupting this debate, but I would like to throw my two cents in. I respect both of your opinions, and your ability to express them. Typically, I do not engage in discussions of what the government is and isn't doing or the way things should or should not be for various reasons, but there are a couple of points I would like to interject.

First, ENERGY FLOWS WHERE ATTENTION GOES! Yes, it is great to inform people of what they need to know regarding the truth about the government. Yes, people need to understand that they only BELIEVE things because they were TOLD things are a certain way. People are PROGRAMMED by the media. We no longer live in a time where we can say "Well, if the government said it, then it must be true." Of course not! Anyone who lifts the veil even slightly would have to at least question the legitimacy of the war, 9/11, the crumbling economy, the unemployment rate, the gas prices, the food prices, businesses collapsing, crime, racial tensions, drugs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals in the food, the water & the air - and if people aren't asking, the question is WHY?

People aren't asking because people are too busy worrying about their own lives. They are making sure they have a roof over their heads, utilities on and food in their stomachs. This is the priority of people today. They live in FEAR of what is going to happen because that is what they are programmed to do! We are programmed to trust our government. We are programmed NOT to think for ourselves, for that would be TOO dangerous... so dangerous for them if everyone knew the truth.

Even so, it is unbelievable that people are NOT questioning the government's actions (and haven't for decades) and just believe whatever they are fed. It is unbelievable to me that people are not questioning the issues that exist right now and WHY they are happening. It is unbelievable to me that people still have faith in the voting system after not one, but two obvious intentional screwups in the 2 previous elections in which somehow we were told to believe that George Bush was "elected" by a majority of the vote, and most people believed it was true. This, after the president of Diebold, the largest manufacturer of voting machines said that he would do whatever it takes to make sure George Bush is elected. Anyone who questioned it was "unpatriotic."

Hmm... we were also called unpatriotic when we didn't want to go to war against a country that had nothing to do with anything (aside from oil). We were lead into a war against a country under false pretenses. It had nothing to do with 9/11. It had nothing to do with Osama. It had nothing to do with terrorism (which does not exist as most people have bought into it). It was all about control, money and "finishing what Daddy didn't."

The observer gets the results he seeks. If people are not questioning, it is because they have been programmed to trust everything they see, read and hear. Just even a tiny bit of a glimpse into the REAL information about 9/11, the Oklahoma City bombings or either of the elections that Bush "won" would bring so much clarity to people, but even when it is right in front of their eyes, many people will still deny it. There is none so blind as he who will not see.

Anyone who thinks we are NOT being poisoned, tested, controlled and manipulated by the media, our food, air and water supply, our televisions, advertising, schools, religion, medication and even airwaves owes it to themselves and their families to take a long, hard look at the truth about what is going on. But the reason for this is NOT to keep giving attention to all of the negative things, only to bring awareness to people so that people can start seeing this illusion for what it really is. Gee, who owns the pharmaceutical companies? The banks? The oil companies?

The majority of commercials on TV are either for bankruptcy, credit problems, the news (all gloom and doom) and medications. Every time people hear these things, this is where their focus is going. This is what is in people's minds - be afraid, sick, broke, stupid and miserable. And gee, we have a cure! The more they keep us doped up, the less we question and the less power we have. Are there medications that are necessary? Sure! But how many dis-eases have been CREATED? How many dis-eases require a medication that can cause side effects such as, gee, I don't know - DYING?

Again, energy flows where attention goes. I did not intend to write this to upset anyone or belittle anyone's beliefs. My intention is to explain that whatever our focus is expands. The more attention we give to the war, the more war exists. When peace is the focus, peace exists. This has been proven over and over and over again by way of positive results when instituting peaceful movements and meditations in areas of war and poverty. HEALING ANYTHING STARTS WITH THE FREQUENCIES WE EMIT!

Can we affect a change by getting everyone on board to take 7 days off of work and to refrain from spending any money? Sure. But at what cost? Has it worked in other places? Sure, but at what cost? And what are we really doing by these actions? It appears the economy is crumbling just fine through their actions anyway, we would only be speeding up the process. We would only be hurting ourselves and our own careers and welfare.

Can we affect a change by getting everyone riled up to revolt? Sure. But again, at what cost? What frequencies are we putting out in the process? It's all a focus of attention on what we DO NOT WANT! What you put out, you get back. If "they" are operating from a bad vibration and then you get a bunch of others to operate from a bad vibration in order to "fight," then you will have a lot worse of a vibration echoing out into the world.

Only through peaceful intentions can we affect a change. Peace can render violence powerless en masse. When you focus on peace, how can you go wrong? If you went the peaceful route instead, what would the cost be? A HIGHER FREQUENCY AND BETTER CHANCE OF ACCOMPLISHING THE RIGHT OUTCOME! ENOUGH PEACE WILL RENDER THE VILLAINS POWERLESS!

Regardless of what the issues are, or who believes in the government and who does not, the only solution can be peace. Anything else is just asking for more of the same from those in control.

PS - try this exercise. Sit in your chair and relax. Try to clear your mind. Then, start thinking about all the things that are going on in the world. All the things that need to be changed. All the lies, deceptions and criminal activities. Think about all the things the government has kept from us and all of the ways it controls the masses. Now, notice the feelings in your body. Are ya tense? Are ya happy? Are ya feeling good?

Now. Sit in your chair and relax. Try to clear your mind. Now, visualize the change you want to see in the world, regardless of the way it is accomplished. Picture how it would be if everything that was corrupt was suddenly gone. Hold this vision for as long as you can. NOW how do you feel? Are ya happy? Are ya feeling good?

Now tell me that peace isn't the way to go... :)

This is exactly why I advocate NON-CONSUMPTION for 7 days, Lee. Imagine the time people would have to sit and reflect on the goals of the exercise. Imagine the clarity they could have by NOT watching the TV, NOT seeing the daily "doom and gloom" as you describe it, of the newspaper. Imagine LACKING the stress of the typical work-day, similar to what a vacation is supposed to be, but without the hassle of flying, getting the wrong room at the hotel, and having rain spoil the family trip to the zoo! It could be 7 DAYS OF TRANQUILITY, while the machine starves.

We can't fight the bad guys with flying lead any more, but we MUST provide a start to change, or the result is clear and unkind. That is why JUST SAY NO works. It is GOOD karma. It is PEACEFUL change. It starves the unconstitutional machine, and returns THE PEOPLE to power with THE LAW as the guardian against the flaws of DEMOCRACY. It's what Ghandi would do. It's what Jesus would do.

I see freedom. I see a Constitutional government. It won't happen continuing down the path we have created, but it can happen if we JUST SAY NO...together.

I think we're looking for the same end result, but looking at 2 different methods of achievement. The difference is, as I see it, that "just saying no" still focuses all attention on what the problems are... "saying no" - negative - fighting against. "Saying yes to peace" is focusing the attention on what we want rather than what we do not. We BOTH know about how energy works and flows, we know how karma works, and we know that WHAT we put our attention on is what expands.

So if we put our attention on the FIGHT and the CORRUPTION and the WAR and the GREED and the CONTROL, then we will experience more of the same... why do you think we are where we are now? Our attention on the wrong issues has grown those issues for us. Because we, as a society, have bought into the fear they have programmed in us, and people live in it every day, it has expanded. It is this fear that keeps people in a state of helplessness and just doing what they feel they have to do in order to survive day after day.

It is as simple as breaking this down into how energy and karma works. It is IMPERATIVE that we place our attention on the right aspects of things. We have talked before about a global project to unite everyone through PEACE, which is the only true way everything will shift. If we put people in a negative state, by instilling more fear, hatred, anger, etc., then we will never achieve what we ultimately are both desiring.

I also beg to differ - Jesus and Ghandi would not have fought AGAINST the system. Jesus didn't even fight against the system to save his own life (if you believe what the bible says). They would have told people to live through peace and love and those are the only answers.

Our economy is already crumbling. People are afraid. People are under pressure and stress. People want a peaceful change. I believe if you take an honest look, this is what this shift is all about! This is why all of these changes in awareness have been happening in the last couple of years - to bring us the solutions to this problem so that we can solve it the right way.

Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion and understand why you believe the way that you do... but I KNOW that you know about energy and frequency and how it works. I KNOW that if you can step out of warrior mode and really see it for what it is, you will realize that peace is the only way... and peace does not happen by rallying everyone together and protesting or fighting against the establishment.

For those who understand how things work, Lee, such as yourself, I truly appreciate your approach.

This blog, however, is primarily for the (most likely) 10,000+ friends who DON'T know how things really work, don't know what is really going on, and don't have the motivation to do or change anything because they haven't seen the problem hit them in the face yet.

For those who think our government would never to anything bad to us, that banks need the bailout to protect them, that our military is protecting our freedoms, they need a motivation to shake their tree a bit so that the 3rd eye opens.

This blog is really for them. You are already past the need for motivation. The change needs to occur, but without pointing out what changes need to be made, many will never give the energy to focus on a different outcome. There is no fear in my statement, just an urgency to act. I still believe peaceful action, which doesn't benefit the machine, is the way to go.

Thanks, my friend.

Micheal,

I noticed that you did not say whether you voted or not. I am not asking for you to tell the world who you actually voted for, but I think it is only fair that we know if you actually took part in the process that can lead to real change - a process that was set up by our founding fathers to protect our civil liberties and our inalienable rights.

Again, please show me the proof! You do a lot of talking about our private property being confiscated and about our inalienable rights violated. Since you are proclaiming such egregious atrocities perpetrated by our police officers, judges, Supreme Court, and government, it should be easy for you to enlighten the world with a detailed and documented list. Please do some research yourself and put together a simple list. This list, however, cannot include people that are in violation or being accused of violating or laws (drug felonies, child molesters, illegal gun possession, tax evasion, etc.).

I have been eating food for more than 40 years. I have good feel for tastes delicious. I have had food that my grandparents grew in their garden and processed on their farm. I know what real food tastes like and so did they.

Again, please put together a list of documented facts that shows the entire world that we have gone from highly nutritious food to food with "ZERO" nutritional value. That list does not have to include how the government is involved unless you want it to. When people are experiencing a decrease in nutrition, they get skinny not fat. You end up with well understood diseases like scurvy (lack of vitamin C), marasmus (lack of overall calories), growth retardation, kwashiorkor (lack of protein), night blindness (lack of vitamin A), rickets, frontal bossing of the head, widening of the ribs, bowed legs (vitamin D deficiency), etc....

With regards to "the saying from Niemoller", again, spell it out for the world. We do not live in Nazi Germany. Not even close, Michael.

Sorry about the misspelling of your name.

I did not vote in this last election, Doug, because I refuse to participate in the fraud which is our current electoral system. It is rife with corruption, and is no longer the counted will of the people. I have first hand reports from people watching early ballots being "modified" to reflect a vote opposite of the original voter's submission. Talk to Dan Gutenkauf and his brother on how they taped a lone vote counter at a table (already a violation) using their video camera, who was changing the votes. This was seconds before they were forceably removed from the building. Write-in votes are thrown away, or on several occasions in this last election, Ron Paul's name was scratched out of primary ballots, with voters being told that he was no longer in the race, when he was in fact the largest donation receiver in the party.

Why didn't I vote? Listen to Mr. George Carlin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efKguI0NFek

Our bodies are designed to process the food naturally found on this planet. Our bodies are NOT designed to handle franken-food. While you are correct in that SOME diseases from mal-nutrition includes scurvy, beriberi and the like, OTHER diseases include CANCER, HEART-DISEASE, OBESITY (and resulting diabetes) and other MAJOR KILLERS of our society today!

You're an educated man Doug, so I really shouldn't have to do the research for you, but I will provide a few links so that you may be nudged outside your comfort zone, and into a larger reality...

George Carlin is an entertaining comedian. His job is to entertain people and stir up controversy thus furthering his career and financial situation. I actually enjoy his skits. Not voting because of what a comedian tells you in my mind, however, is naïve and child-like.

Dan Gutenkauf has concerns about voting accuracy – as do I, but like myself, he actually voted. He is working for a positive change and working toward a legislative provision which will insure more accuracy. He is not advocating a “general strike” against the United States of America.

Regarding forfeiture abuse – yes – it does happen. It also may interest you to know that the high ranking officials involved in said forfeiture abuse cases were elected officials. All of which you could have in theory voted out of office if you actually voted, which you DO NOT.

Since you did not vote or participate in this year’s election, you most likely did not know that at least 2 dozen local judges were up for reelection. There is a public listing of all their names. Their prosecution records are part of the public domain – easily researched. There was an opportunity that you missed to reelect or kick out of office all the judges in which you did not approve. I cast my ballot regarding all of them.

Likewise, there were numerous opportunities to decide yea or nay on a number of local issues directly affecting your local community and the Constitution of Arizona. Again, you missed out on actually making a difference.

Having actually voted in every election since turning 18 years old, I can actually say that the results I saw this election corresponded to the poling and exit interviews. I believe I made a difference this election both locally and nationally.

Again, you can say that “write in votes are thrown away” and that “Ron Paul’s name was scratched out”, but you having not participated in said election makes what you say and put forth - hearsay. The ballot I filled out and submitted had a place for a write in nominee.

Bill Benson (tax evasion), is admittedly not a constitutional expert, and is simply one more tax protestor who thought he had found a clever way to avoid paying his taxes – he was wrong! I do not enjoy giving up more than a third of my income to taxes, but, having said that, I realize that there is a need for taxation as outlined in the XVI Amendment.

I watched some of the YouTube videos you recommended regarding illegal search and seizure. Most of these individuals were found not guilty in a court of law. There is a system in place regarding such mistakes. The ignorance of low level law enforcement officers is no excuse; however, the end result proved to be vindication – justice, the law, and the constitution of the United States of America were upheld. The constitutional rights of the individuals in question were upheld.

The system is not perfect. For instance, hundreds of people have been found guilty by a jury of their peers and executed in this country only to later be found innocent via technology. I will be the first to admit that there is much room for improvement in our current system. Humanity is still in its infancy.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the top cause of death in the world is now cancer - lung cancer to be specific. 90% of all lung cancers are caused by cigarettes and tobacco products. Lung cancer kills more people per year than all other cancers combined. I think that it is safe to say that this leading cause of death in the world is not caused from the government genetically engineering food products to contain “zero nutritional value” in order to give its citizens cancer.

Michael, why would the government want to kill off its tax base in the first place? Your argument is weak and from an analytical sense of reason makes no logical sense at all.

Dear Doug

You've made so many naive presumptions that I can not even begin to enlighten you given 75 column inches of this blog.

Please continue on your path. It is obvious that you're not quite ready for that peek outside the box. ;-)

Best wishes

Dear Micheal,

Naive presumptions? Really? That is all you have to say? It sounds to me like you are unwilling to acknowledge that YOUR presumptions are not based in fact but instead based on hearsay and fallacy and what you have allowed yourself to believe....

"Peek outside the box"? Is this the box you actually exist in that you want me to peek outside of? Your self-made box that is filled with one conspiracy after another? A box that no one has challenged you before to explain and put forth evidential arguments regarding your / its theories?

I have been looking outside that box for years! I have been living outside the box and interacting with society and the brightest minds this world has to offer. I think it is time for you to look outside your self-made glass box and explore other options besides anarchy.

I do not believe that "a general strike" against the United States of America is the answer; I do not believe that the government is genetically engineering food supplies to ultimately give its citizens cancer; and I do not believe that voting is a "waste of time" as you do.

I am sure that this debate and blog will be deleted by you the first chance you get. When a person's argument is challenged and that person retreats, it is usually a sign of a weak argument that is based, in my opinion, on fallacy.

Sincerely,
Doug

Please read the evidence presented in prior entries before commenting. I provided plenty for you to get familiar with. Your newest presumption that I'm inside a box shows that you've still got some readin' to do!

The world IS full of one conspiracy after another. Read the definition of conspiracy to use the word properly. It doesn't have the spun meaning delivered by FOX News (even though you don't have a TV, you KNOW what I mean).

I think you should get started writing a detailed manifesto explaining exactly why you think the American Government is ready to be overthrown. As a side note, please explain your supposition that the United States of America’s Government is genetically engineering our food supplies to cause malnutrition and ultimately cancer.

I have watched your YouTube video “evidence” and read the articles. As an educated man, and someone that actually pays taxes, I am not convinced that the American people need to overthrow the United States Government at this time. I think your favorite politician RON PAUL (THE GUY YOU DID NOT ACTUALLY VOTE FOR BECAUSE YOU DO NOT VOTE) would be ashamed of you for many reasons.

I would suggest that in the future, you actually do some research and VOTE for the judges and people that represent you.

If VOTING is not an option for you because it is not fair…, I would suggest that you run for public office. I think you should start at the local level (maybe your chamber of commerce) and get a hands-on feel for how the system works here in the United States of America. Then, work your way up the latter my friend while EARNING a degree in constitutional law. Then, work towards a career as a Federal Judge which could eventually lead to a Supreme Court Justice nomination. Then, at that point, you will probably look back on your YouTube “evidence” and realize how silly it really is.

Until then, I’ll keep hanging in there.

I forgot to mention in the other reply to this post, Doug, that the detailed manifesto explaining exactly why we need to make massive corrections on our current government has already been written. It was written by a good friend of mine, Tom Jefferson; it's called the Declaration of Independence. Most of the complaints written in that document apply to the federal government today. It's not an "overthrow" of the government I'm interested in. It's a Constitutional Republic that I'd like to see made to obey the Law of the Land.

Well, Doug, the problem right out the gate is that to be a federal appointee or electee, you must have a social security number and be federal personnel. I do not have a social security number, (even though I was born in the Republic of California) because I have chosen NOT to be federal personnel. This means I can not vote because I am not the property of the federal government (see 5 USC § 552a(a)(13) definition of "federal personnel"). This means that they won't let me be elected either, even though I am a natural born citizen of one of the States of the United States.

It certainly isn't the first time that the suggestion has been made to run for office. It also isn't the first time that it has been suggested that I become a federal lawyer. I would rather write rock 'n' roll songs and educate the masses through music.

The evidence I provided to you will never be "silly" because it is the truth. Hopefully, you, one day, will see the truth, and opt out of being part of the machine which robs the middle class and supports the foreign bankers.

Best wishes
Michael

Well, Micheal, I now see that you have an excuse for not being able to step up and actually make a difference in your local community, city, country, and world.

My grandfather, when he first came to this country from Italy, struggled to learn the language and laws of the United States of America. He EARNED a science degree from an American university; He EARNED the right and money to bring his wife and children to the United States of America; He EARNED the right to carry a United States Social Security Card and American Citizenship Card; and He EARNED the right to be proud of that Social Security Card that you so easily dismiss as garbage.

He raised his family and paid his taxes and was proud to die and be laid to rest as an American Citizen on American soil. He was proud of his brother-in-law who died fighting for this country and was proud his father and mother who died in a foreign country without him knowing for years. He sacrificed a lot for this country and the right to carry a United States Social Security Card.

When I was a child, my grandfather asked me to memorize something I will in turn ask my children and grandchildren to memorize, and in turn, take to my grave.

“To laugh often and much; to EARN the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to EARN the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to APPRECIATE beauty, to find the best in others; and to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or A REDEEMED SOCIAL CONDITION; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Sincerely,
Doug

I'm sorry to say, DBackfan, that Doug has been blocked from further comment on this blog. Your question cannot be answered directly, but I can tell you from his posts here that Doug doesn't have a problem with the way this country is heading. He thinks government is doing a fine job. He doesn't think drastic measures are necessary. He is fine with the wars in the Middle East, and he thinks the unnatural additives in our food do not pose any health problems. He doesn't see a problem using fiat money, and he is all for the socialist programs imposed by Roosevelt. He didn't comment on the barium and aluminum chemtrails being sprayed in our skies, nor the upcoming downfall of America and the dollar, being replaced by the Amero and the North American Union, but since he ignored those details, he probably doesn't believe they are real enough to comment on.

Please give your opinion on these things, and whether you think a 7 day sit-in, basically protesting the corporate-industrial-military complex is a good way to peacefully bring our Republic back.

The Founding Fathers would have abhorred the concept of socialism which was instituted by Roosevelt, including the creation of the inaptly named "Social Security." There was a time, in my naivete where I thought Social Security was both a good thing, and lawfully required of me.

Only through research of the actual law, which of course is not taught in the government-run school system, did I find out about Social Security numbers, and Title 26 taxation.

If you ask anyone with military experience, Doug, they'll concur that when you enter the military, you become the property of the US Government, hence, G.I. or government-issue. You, while in the military service, waive your rights to an Article IV, section IV republican-form of government, and your sovereignty.

The definition at 5 USC § 552a(a)(13) of "federal personnel" includes not only military personnel (including the Reserve component), but also any employee of the government, AND anyone eligible for immediate or deferred payment from any federally-funded retirement program. Social Security, as confirmed by Seislowski v HHS, is a government-funded retirement and disability program.

In law, therefore, if you have a Social Security number, you are the property of the US government, and you are NOT sovereign. When I found this out in 1999, I canceled the SS-5 agreement with the SSA, and returned the property (the card and number) as required by 20 CFR § 404.1905 to lawfully cancel agreements.

If you want to find out who must, by law, have a Social Security number, you can be enlightened by reading 42 USC § 405(c)(2)(B). Neither you nor I are required to have a number unless we want to receive "federal benefits."

I can not in good conscience, fund the current government's unconstitutional wars against the people of the United States, and this planet. The government's actions are WRONG both morally, and according to the Supreme Law of the Land. Since I can not stop them through brute force, and I can not vote them out (rigged elections keep that from happening), at least I can stop funding them, and that is what I have done.

Income tax, as proven by the Grace Commission research during the Reagan Administration, doesn't provide any infrastructure, or military, or other funding of valid government projects.

"100% of what is collected is absorbed
solely by interest on the Federal Debt ...
all individual income tax revenues are gone
before one nickel is spent on the services
taxpayers expect from government."

That interest, on a debt unconstitutionally created by actions of the PRIVATE corporation called the Federal Reserve (which isn't federal and has no reserves) is what people are funding with their labor. It's a scam, a pyramid scheme of the worst kind, Doug. Article I of the Constitution provides for CONGRESS to coin money and declare the value thereof, not some private corporation which types it into a computer creating "money" out of thin air, with nothing to back it up.

I'm all for paying taxes to fund NECESSARY police (not militarized police), fire and State road construction. That's why I don't mind the gasoline tax, sales tax, and other lawful indirect taxes. I won't, however, pay any tax which funds unconstitutional terror around the world and at home.

I don't love the President, the Congress, or the puppetmasters pulling their strings. I love the concept and the words used in the Constitution, and THAT is what I swore an oath to uphold and protect. I understand the Constitution, Doug, and I do everything in my power to protect and defend same. In addition, I do what I can to teach others what that amazing document really means, and how current evil-doers (party-line Repugnocrats) ignore, and attempt to destroy same.

Maybe you could join me. ;-)

I am so intrigued by this blog that I again feel the desire to step up and add some information. I again believe that peace is the only way to solve any issues, but awareness is important as well.

Part of the issue is that some are not ready to see what is going on out there in the world. Why? Typically because we are programmed to believe that whatever the government tells us is fact. Why would they possibly want to hurt its people? Why would they want to keep its people sick and stupid?

Well first, let us consider the fact that the majority, if not all, of the pharmaceutical companies in this country are owned by people in power. This alone means that if they keep people sick, then there is much money to be made in the medical industry. By creating and giving people dis-eases, people are constantly going to the doctor (typically a 5 minute visit for around $75) and getting on prescription medication. When people such as Kevin Trudeau come out and tell the TRUTH about the medical industry and provide alternative NATURAL cures, they are chastisted, threatened and harrassed.

Why is that? What would happen to the medical industry if people stopped taking drugs?Well, we would become healthy, would not need to go to the doctor as much, would not need prescriptions as much, would not need over-the-counter drugs as much.

Illness affects the ability to think, and affects the brain tremendously. Add to that the chemicals in the drugs, and people REALLY do not have the ability to think properly. Sometimes, as in the case with anti-depressants, which only SUPPRESS issues rather than deal with them, people aren't even really thinking at all - they are in a cloud, a fog. Even if they think they feel better, it is a residual effect of the drugs. By suppressing emotions and not dealing with them, people are internalizing their negative vibrations and energies and therefore creating MORE dis-ease within the body. So when MILLIONS of people in this country rely on anti-depressants to make them feel better, OF COURSE they won't be looking at the truth about what's going on... they're being chemically made to feel like they don't have a care in the world! Everything's good!

It is obvious by the percentage of commercials, magazine ads and billboards how much the government and pharmaceutical companies WANT you to be on drugs. It's too big of a money-maker and a control issue, and they don't want people like Kevin Trudeau getting in the way, for that takes the money and control away from those in charge.

Why would they want to keep us stupid? Well, the dumber the people are, the less they question what the government, pharmaceutical companies and oil companies are actually doing to their own people! Employing the magician's technique of distraction allows them to keep doing what they are doing.

Why do people have such faith in the government? Is it not obvious after both Bush elections that there was foul play going on? I will repeat this from my earlier post for anyone who missed it:

Why is it that the day before 9/11 occurred, Donald Rumsfeld announced that 2.3 TRILLION DOLLARS were missing? Why were there fire trucks at the Pentagon BEFORE the plane allegedly hit the building? Why does the hole in the Pentagon NOT line up with the plane that allegedly hit it?

Why is it that as soon as new evidence came up proving the innocence of Timothy McVeigh, the patsy accused of bombing the Oklahoma City Federal Building, they immediately silenced him and put him to death? When have you EVER seen someone on death row executed so quickly? Why was the building bombed in the first place? Are people aware of the evidence that was INSIDE that building?

Let's go back to Kennedy. Do people still actually believe in the magic bullet? If so, I'd really like to see one! PLEASE!

I'm not sure that I agree that the CDC's findings of the leading cause of death is lung cancer associated with smoking. First, the number of smokers has decreased tremendously, especially within the last 5-10 years. Let us not forget that if the CDC TRULY cared about smokers, then why do they allow so many chemicals in the cigarettes? Why do they not pull cigarettes off the market if they are such a killer?

To me, if this was truly the leading cause of death, and you had an organization that was "concerned" about its people, then surely it would do what it took to save lives, wouldn't it? But no... if people aren't smoking and getting lung cancer, then they aren't paying taxes for the cigarettes, they aren't supplying money to the owners of the tobacco companies (gee, who owns those again?), they aren't getting drugs and treatments for their illness. THIS is how they keep us sick. They tell us it's bad, act like they care (excuse me - SAY they care), then sell us the drugs to "feel better." And at this point, maybe we should be asking HOW is the CDC CONTROLLING the dis-eases... remember - it's not the Center for Disease Prevention, now is it?

They took ephedra off the market years ago because a couple of people died from it's use. Of course, ephedra is natural and it has wonderful benefits. They weren't making money on ephedra because it wasn't regulated. A COUPLE OF PEOPLE. I'm not even convinced it was the ephedra that killed them. How many tens of thousands of people die from prescription drugs and they don't do anything about it for several YEARS, if at all?

How many people realize that aluminum is a chemical? Would you drink a glass of liquid aluminum? Well, many people are putting it under their arms when they use most deodorants. The skin absorbs things EXTREMELY QUICKLY! This means that aluminum is going right into your body and your blood stream. ALUMINUM IS TOXIC!

How many people realize that there are chemicals in the pesticides on the fruits and vegetables that we eat? How many people that eat meat realize what chemicals they have fed the cows? How many people really look into the truth about how milk is processed? How dis-eased the cows are that we get our milk from? But people don't question it because they are taught to believe "milk does a body good."

Why have there been UFO coverups? Why do they black out 99.9% of any documents that are released to the public? THEY'RE HIDING SOMETHING!!!! HELLO!!!!

How many know THIS about fluoride:

<< Although it is a natural substance, fluoride is highly toxic to human beings, even more so than lead. If you were to injest a mere 2-5 grams of sodium fluoride (a common ingredient in toothpaste), you would probably die. The amount of fluoride in a typical tube of fluoride toothpaste is sufficient to kill a small child if it were consumed all at once. Fluoride toothpaste contains a much higher concentration of fluoride than what is found in nature.
Is fluoride necessary for health?

Not remotely. Unlike calcium or magnesium, fluoride is not an essential nutrient for your body. If you were to consume zero fluoride your entire life, you wouldn’t suffer for it. There’s no such thing as fluoride deficiency.

Fluoride acts as an enzyme inhibitor. For this reason it is believed to help prevent cavities by literally poisoning the bacteria in your mouth. Unfortunately, because fluoride is so toxic, you’re taking a big risk by using it to try to prevent cavities. You not only poison the bacteria in your mouth but your other cells as well.

What are the risks of fluoride consumption? Aside from the risk of death, fluoride can cause serious problems even at low levels of injestion that come from using toothpaste or mouthwash or drinking fluoridated water. These things include dental or skeletal fluorosis (excessive exposure to fluoride), learning disabilities, memory issues, kidney damage and cancer.>>

So if they know this, WHY does nearly every toothpaste on the market contain fluoride? WHY were we taught as kids that fluoride was NECESSARY?

Everyone has an obligation TO THEMSELVES, if nothing else, to KNOW what they are putting in their bodies. They also owe it to themselves to find out the truth for themselves about their own belief systems. We believe because we're taught to believe the way our parents, teachers and churches believe. We believe, oftentimes, because we would rather believe that the illusion is real than to find out that everything that we think is real has been a lie.

The truth is out there. It exists. And though there are successful attempts to cover it up, it still can be located.

So back to the original question... "how long will it take for the Sheople to realize that they are still being sheared?" Until each person takes it upon themselves to start investigating one - just one of these topics for themselves. Until people are willing to step outside the box just enough to realize that they have been decieved and lied to; that they have been poisoned, controlled and manipulated.

Unfortunately, not everyone is ready to do that. Many people walk through life believing what they were taught because they can't handle the truth; they don't want to see what is really going on, for that would make them responsible for changing their own belief system. It would make them responsible for making a change. People don't want to know that big brother really is watching them, even though it should be obvious with the new passports with the computer chips in them, GPS devices (not really made so that people can be found when they are in danger) and legal telephone taps thanks to the Patriot Act.

When people are ready to open even one eye to what is going on, and shatter their paradigms, they will be right in line with making a change. Hopefully the change they want to make will not be by way of a fight, but through peaceful means, for I believe with all my heart that is the ONLY way it will work.

I will now leave you with a quote that my grandfather taught me:

“Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.”

Interesting, I actually agree with most of what you said. Most people in this country could use a grand dose of education and awareness regarding what is going on around them and the drugs they are taking. I never said that I trust the government and think they are doing a wonderful job. I never said that I listen to what the government tells me and blindly fall in line. A number people do go through life sick and stupid and manipulated as a result of what they have been told, their beliefs, their lifestyle, and their choices. I see firsthand examples of this every day. I am not stupid.

Are there man made environment hazards that cause cancer and kill people, yes! However, we as a nation have come a long way from the days when raw sewage, industrial, and household chemical wastes were pumped directly into our rivers and lakes and thus the water we use as a drinking supply. We now have knowledge, technology, and regulations in place. Some waste treatment operations are completely self-sufficient and actually produce surplus clean energy and are completely profitable. Check out the newest waste treatment plant in southern California. Is this system perfect, no! One thing is absolutely true, however. Wherever humans go, they will have lessons to learn and they will be leaving a trail of garbage and chemical waste and destruction behind them. Humans are a child race in their infancy. Some of the environmental damage that has been done, at this point time, is irreversible.

Are there drugs that actually cause cancer and that have actually been marketed to the world, yes! As but one example, check out diethylstilbestrol (DES) - it was a drug used back in the 70s marketed to prevent miscarriage – it actually did prevent miscarriage. However, the results were horrific for generations of women (that unknowingly took this drug) and their female offspring. There is no excuse for such ignorance. Profit was on the minds of those who designed that drug.

Has the number of smokers gone down in the United States, yes - you are correct! However, the worldwide number of smokers is on the rise exponentially. Thus, profit being made from ignorance is also on the rise just like the number of people dying from smoking related illness and cancer. As someone who is directly involved everyday with the treatment of cancer. I can see it right before my eyes. Cancer is how I make a living, and business is good.

Is there a lot of profit to be made from people who have cancer and the cancer machine, yes! Is it possible that the government and drug manufactures actually realizes that, yes! Is the government making a majority of their money from the population by giving them cancer and then trying to cure them? No, I do not think that is the case. Has the United States government given billions of dollars in grants to study and research cures for cancer, yes!

Is it possible that the United States government and its citizens have an interest in securing as much oil in the Middle East as possible, yes! Is it possible that we will do whatever it takes to remain the strongest nation in the world, yes! Is it possible that a plan has been put in motion to secure this nation and its sovereignty at any cost, yes! The question you have to ask yourself is what would you prefer? Do want a nation run by the Middle East?

The question now is where do we go from here? Is a “general strike” against the United States of America the answer? No! Is anarchy the answer? No! Is accumulation of guns and ammunition the answer! No, but as a US citizen in good standing and my documents in order, I have earned the right to carry a concealed weapons permit good in 34 states. Are meaningless protests that amount to nothing but pepper spray in your eye and a clunk on your head the answer? I do not think so. Is living your entire life based on supposition, isolation, hearsay, and child-like behaviors the answer? I do not think so.

As you see, there is a lot of agreement between your beliefs and mine. I am not some passive automaton that believes everything he is told. Your grandfather was a smart man as was mine.

Doug - thank you for responsding to what I wrote. I get the impression you may feel that I was directing my response and you, and I apologize if you saw it that way. I was more speaking to the masses, aside from responding to your comments about lung cancer & the CDC.

You are obviously a very intelligent person and I applaud you for speaking your mind. I respect your opinions, even if I do not completely agree.

I am in complete agreement with the proper way to solve the issues. I don't believe a strike would be an answer. Every time there is a "gas crisis" we aren't even powerful enough to hold a meaningful gas strike for even ONE DAY! Also, the number of people that it would take to actually participate, in my opinion, are far more than what would really participate in order to make a difference. Protesting? No... again, it would be focusing on the issue, rather than focusing on the results we would wish to see.

A couple of things I wondered about when I read your response though...

Are the waste treatment plants you are referring to relative to us being provided with clean air and clean drinking water? It is sad to me with the technology and knowledge that we DO have that I still have to clean out my shower head from severe lime deposits, that I cannot get a clear glass of water out of my faucet, and regardless of the laundry detergent, there is still an odor when I open the washer after just washing a load of clothes.

Perhaps the government has provided billions of dollars in research... again, I'm not sure I really believe that. I believe more that we are given the ILLUSION that the government cares about its people and their welfare. I'm not really sold on the fact that the main cause of lung cancer comes from cigarettes, especially when I go to the gas pump and smell the awful smell of gasoline that is pumped into the air, and the byproducts of which we breathe in every single day in our air supply. There have been remedies for this for decades, yet the government refuses to use alternative fuel sources... why? Because even though the fumes and chemicals that the fuels emit are toxic, there is too much money to be made. Not only on oil, but again the drugs. Those are two of the biggest moneymakers there are.

So if we know that cancer is the biggest killer, then why doesn't the government put a stop to tobacco products? We saw how easily the Patriot Act slipped through to put a stop to many of our rights of privacy and freedom. Why wouldn't they stop the number one killer of people? For the same reason they refuse to use alternative fuels... it's too profitable. I realize you are in the medical industry, but seriously, it can be stopped if they truly cared... but they don't. Most diseases are created. We have more different types of illnesses now than ever before, and they are coming up with new ones all the time.

In addition, it is my belief that cures for everything have been out there for decades. If natural cures exist, and they do, then why would they not be prone to spread the word to its people? Once again, too profitable.

If money was not involved, I believe things would be much different. The only other reason they would have aside from money is the power they have over people, and again, keeping us sick and stupid.

I must comment on the Middle East also... the Middle East did not attack the World Trade Center. Period, plain and simple. That was a shame to make people think we needed to go to war. It was a cover up for the trillions of dollars of missing money. There is so much legitimate documentation about this, it is unreal. The Middle East was just another Lee Harvey Oswald. What a great way to go kill people and get oil so they could rob the American people by telling them they need to charge over $4/gallon for gas!

The only acts of terrorism that we have experienced are from this country itself. I was never in any fear of this country being ruled by the Middle East. When Bush, shortly after 9/11 was interviewed and asked how the hunt for Bin Laden was going, said, "I hardly think about that guy anymore." WHAT? THE ONE WHO YOU SAY CAUSED 9/11? What does that say? Why was Bin Laden's family allowed to fly out of the country right after the attacks? Why, just like with Oswald, did they so quickly have all of the information on the alleged terrorists? And again, more freedoms were taken away because the American people bought in to the idea because they were TOLD that we were attacked by foreigners. Now we can't even take a bottle of shampoo on a plane.

You asked if there is a plan in place to secure our sovereignty at any cost as a nation? Unfortunately I disagree with you here... if anything, our government puts us more at risk by trying to rule the world when it can't even keep its own country in order. Our government is the one taking away our rights and our freedoms, no one else.

I do want to make one other comment about you being a taxpayer. Yes, I pay taxes too... however, I am aware, and I believe you should look into this if you are so inclined, that there is NO LAW that says that we are required to pay federal income tax. NONE. I was extremely surprised to find that out. When people evade taxes, there is NO LAW that says they cannot do so. Unfortunately, the government kills and arrests people who do not pay taxes, even though no law is in place. Do I agree that I SHOULD pay taxes? Not if I am not required to... however, I am not the type of person to argue or fight, especially because the consequences are not worth it, at least to me. I commend those who have the guts to fight for that right. Call me a wimp, but I'm just not going to go there.

Don't get me wrong - I believe that we have the obligation to pay taxes for things, but only to a certain degree. I agree that we should pay REASONABLE taxes, and ones that we as a nation will benefit from. This DOES NOT, however, include funding a war, funding politician's elaborate travel and outing expenses, funding illegal activities, etc. I am also not in agreement that we should pay income tax, Social Security, FICA - and then on top of that be taxed more for hotels, plane trips, rental cars, sales tax, property tax, extra car tax, extra taxes on tobacco and alcohol, the list goes on.

The truth of the matter is that I think we all have the same vision of what we want the future to be like. Again, if you thought this was directed at you, it was not my intent. Truth be told, I do my best NOT to engage myself in political discussions. If you read any of my blogs, I believe it is counterproductive unless it is done in the proper manner to enlighten people.

Peace, Love & Light,

Lee

Is carrying your concealed firearm in 34 States the answer? No. Are you going to use that gun to make changes in the actions of our government? No. Have you admitted to being part of the problem? Yes.

The question IS where do we go from here, I'll grant you that. I have made a suggestion that you don't like. I can live with that. At least I have made a suggestion. While you might find my actions child-like, many find them patriotic, even daring. All I've done is read and comprehend the law and act on it, read the world's news to discern truth from fallacy (like the fallacy one finds on the evening news), and question everything coming from the government's department of lies (http://www.revcom.us/a/v23/1140-1147/1141/pentagon_lies.htm).

In addition, as a correction, I would not call my suggestion a "general strike against the United States of America." That sounds like a "terrorist strike on America, and I see through that twist of words. I'm calling for a sit-in against the corporate-military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us about, and a general labor and commerce strike FOR the people of the united States of America.

As far as your paragraph on doing "whatever it takes to be the strongest nation in the world," there is no authorization for that in the Constitution. It is NOT in the people's interest to do whatever it takes, when doing whatever it takes involves violating the Constitution, the Geneva Convention, and the NATO rules of war.

Looking at the bigger picture, it is NOT in the American people's best interests to secure as much oil in the Middle East as possible. It IS in the OIL COMPANIES' best interests to NOT mass-produce the technologies which make petroleum obsolete for every function on earth except the making of plastics. We don't even have to develop those technologies, Doug, THEY HAVE EXISTED FOR DECADES. It is only the greed of the oil corporations which still has us running cars and heating homes on oil.

The whole Middle East debacle (and debt) are and have been unnecessary, as has been the deaths of 4,000 soldiers, and 25,000 mercenaries in Iraq and Afghanistan thus far (not to mention over 1 million Iraqis, of which only a small fraction were military).

I was thinking about the quote I left (which was from Benjamin Franklin by the way), and I felt it needed to be revised to this:

“Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. Question EVERYTHING you have been taught”

This is not a war we are having. I do not see a need for "peace talks". It is a peaceful debate we are having. It is what intelligent sentient beings do.

I'm for peace talks, Mary! Let's take 7 days and have everyone meet at your house to talk peace and freedom for the people, by instituting something completely different...like the Constitution!

This peaceful debate is just getting started and interesting. I am sad that you want to retreat again so soon. I am very much ready for your next response.

Why would you possibly want to stop? 7 days - what for?

You said that my rook has been taken and I do not even realize it. I think you fear the check mate you are about to be dealt. I thing that other people might be getting ready to chirp in on what has been said so far.

Are you upset about your belief system being challenged in the public domain? Are you worried about what might be revealed next regarding your desire for a "general strike" against the United States of America? Do you have something to hide?

I am ready to continue in the public domain for the entire world to see.

There have been some good exchanges here: lots of information, opinions, and beliefs, but da Boy is tired. I have lived all of this for years, from many sides; at times, loosing a great deal from such debates.

I've been through a myriad of phases and exist within a multitude of potential realities. I have learned, seen, and experienced more than I could have ever imagined possible. Some of it has been life-shattering; some has been life-affirming. I have parted with many illusions.

Sometimes love, respect, and freedom for ALL life comes at a high price.
I'm still learning...

I have had paradigms blown apart, and some gently lifted away, but fall away they do, and just when humans think they have it all figured out, they don't. We do the best that we can. We never really "get there" because then what? Life is eternal.

I'm still learning...

I choose to place my focus in areas in which I know I can make a difference; the areas with which MY soul resonates, and as it is all connected, like the pebble tossed in the water, what I do effects the Whole. This path for me is peace, unity, freedom, awareness, cooperation, understanding, and love. Not the sappy-ass peace, love, and dope-type peace, but the one that requires me to "be the change" that I want to see in the world: a choosing of where I invest my energetic - time, thoughts, words, money, emotions, feelings. (can't you just see those little packets of quanta morphing?)

If that doesn't work, I'll be kickin' some ass.
I'm still learning...

Everyone's path is unique, just as we are, but let us not forget that, even though we are unique expressions of the Whole, we are One.

What IS the vision we see for our future? What is the ultimate goal for humanity? Where IS the collective consciousness investing it's attention? We all better get very clear on this...

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". "What you put out is what you get back". "Energy goes where your attention flows". "As you sow, so shall you reap". Need I continue down this path??

The Universe is more complex, more intelligent, more diverse...more accommodating than humans can comprehend, and I don't mean to sound hating towards humans. We have infinite potential, but we are children in the bigger scheme of things - sometimes dangerous children at that. We are, in a sense, like a living library; a precious jewel hanging out here on the galactic fringe, going through our stuff. Some realize; some don't. Always teachers; always students. Where ARE we "investing" our time? our thoughts? our money? our beliefs?? We are an interesting study...

Too abstract? Perhaps.
Too off topic? Only to those that do not see.

Thank you, Mary. I love looking up, having your face smiling at me. You are a goddess, as am I, and as such, we help bring balance to the world we love so much.

Is that coffee ready?

Tea?
Whiskey?
Rum?
Tequila?

Have fun.
Love to you all...
da Boy~

For those who posted about the importance of education, I think you hit a key point: the people in this country are grossly undereducated, and with that comes complacency. Most people don't question if they are not taught to do so. The masses believe what the television commercials tell them to believe ... they are taught to believe that the latest and greatest vehicle, piece of technology, or ridiculously huge house is what is going to make them happy. They believe that it is okay to eat fast food on a regular basis. They believe that they must take the newest cholesterol medication, but don't bother to address their diets. They believe that change is impossible, because the monster has become too huge. I believe education is where change is made ... and I do believe that change is possible.

I think that in all fairness to this debate that it be known that a number of Doug's responses have been deleted (censored) and that he has been blocked from being able to comment further.

That is hypocritical, especially coming from someone that has such a strong opinion about how politics and the world should be, Micheal.

I actually read all of Doug's responses before they were censored and further comments blocked. His points were valid and relevant to this debate. He was right when he said "a book has been burned" by you.

No, Renee, his personal attacks, attempting to change the subject to my personal health and economic status, have nothing to do with the blog's topic, JUST SAY NO, the concept of 130 million people not participating in commerce for 7 days, or my premise that nothing will change under Obama.

Doug eventually fell back on the Clinton maneuver, "attack the credibility of the person through personal attack whenever you can't defend your position."

His comments, even if true, would not help his position in the debate, and I warned him to stop the personal attacks and stay on topic. He not only re-posted what was deleted, but he posted another twice as long, containing nothing but false assumptions. As the administrator of a blog, it is the duty of that administrator to keep the blog on topic, and to not allow personal attacks. I would have deleted such comments if they were aimed at someone else as well.

I left his comments relating to the blog. I will leave yours as well. I offered Doug the opportunity to take the relevant portions of the deleted post, and re-post them without my unauthorized, private, personal information. He declined, and doubled his attack. If you reveal private, personal information about me, against my will, you will be deleted immediately. If you agree with Doug that 130 million people staying home for a week without contributing to corporate America would not send a large enough message to make change, then post away. I look forward to reading your opinion.

Best wishes
the Administrator

I strongly disagree!

I read all of what Doug wrote and what you censored. His arguments and replies were valid and on topic. He did not reveal personal information that did not directly apply to your position, character, and hypocrisy, Micheal.

How easy it was for you to censor that which with which you disagreed. Even easier was Doug's ability to show the entire world what a hypocrite you really are.

I guess the world will never know what was actually said by Doug since you rounded him, arrested him, and then silenced him for good.

You censored relevant information, Mr. Man.

First of all, Doug's opinion of my character is immaterial to the topic of the blog. If a mass-murderer tells you that 2+2=4, does that discredit the equation? If a lunatic swinging from a lamppost tells you there's a man about to hit you in the head, and then you get hit in the head, should you have ignored the lunatic because after all, everyone says he's just a lunatic?

Secondly, the "position" Doug was attempting to disclose, is my personal financial and career positions, neither of which is material to the blog, nor public information. The only person allowed to talk about MY finances in this blog is ME. Everyone can share information on their OWN personal lives in their posts if they desire. Doug showed his disdain for the rules and he got blocked. Every post that clearly shows his position on topic, and off topic, but without disclosing private information, is still up for all to read. I don't delete what I don't agree with; I delete unauthorized disclosure of private, personal information, and the remaining posts clearly support this statement.

Show YOUR character, Renee. Read the original post and give your opinion on the tactic of non-consumption. Oppose the statement that no significant changes will result from Obama with intelligent discourse. Help enlighten our readers by suggesting an alternative action which results in restoration of our Constitution without violence. You're entitled to your opinion, and if it is on topic, the world can read it right here on this blog.

No fair having Doug write it for you though! ;-)

Any OT (off-topic) posts on this blog will likely be deleted. Harassment will result in blocked status. You've had your warning. Thank you for your compliance with the rules of the blog.
