Hey friends,

Dom here! Seems like we've been a bit quiet lately on the MySpace front, so I thought it was about time to fill you in on what's happening with Paper Champion for the rest of the year.

If you've come to this page, you're no doubt aware that we're playing this Friday night in Sydney at the Agincourt Hotel. This is going to be our last gig for a couple of months. Why? Because with all the gigs we've been playing and this thing they call "Life", new songs have been few and far between. So we've decided it's about time we get off the beaten track, hole ourselves up in a rehearsal studio (or Dave's place) and work on a stack of new songs.

We should be playing a show or two in November, but that'll be it for a couple of months. So please come along Friday because you might not see us again for a while.

Hopefully this means by the time we do come back, it'll be with a drastically new-look and new-sounding set. It's exciting to be on the eve on creating a stack of new songs, so hopefully what comes out will be something fresh and perhaps different to what you'd be expecting? Who knows! That's the fun part.
