The BBR Presents: Beauties Across Borders! *May 5th*

Hold on to your stockings, ladies and gentlemen—on May 5th, 2007, at Martyrs' Pub, Chicago's own Belmont Burlesque Revue will host Ontario's Steeltown Sirens in a fantastic one-night-only cross-border burlesque revue: Beauties Across Borders.

Belmont Burlesque regularly sells out its cozy 60-seat home at the Playground Theater, so director/co-producer Paris Green moved the show to Martyrs' to be sure there was plenty of extra room to accommodate the Canadian ecdysiasts' fans as well.

Regular host Jack Midnight will emcee the international festivities with his ubiquitous straight-man sidekick, Second Cousin Joe. The show will run twice the length of their regular performance with the addition of an intermission and a post-show meet-and-greet autograph session with both groups. Special guests will include The Amazing Tomas, comedians Kumail Nanjiani, Jared Logan, mentalist Jace Quinlan, and Mr. Gallops the Talking Horse Comic.

The Steeltown Sirens (Ginger St. James, Jezebel DuPree, Kissimi Good-Knight, and Pandora La Glamme) were drawn together by their unique performance histories and love for classic vaudevillian theatre, burlesque, and all things vintage. The Sirens showcase their music, theatre, dance, choreography and writing gifts using the sultry, age old art of burlesque. They perform regularly at a variety of venues throughout Ontario, but this will be their first cross-border burlesque enterprise.

The Belmont Burlesque Revue Presents: Beauties Across Borders will be at Martyr's Pub at 10pm on Saturday, March 5th. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 each, or in advance by calling (800) 594-TIXX or visiting
