ARGH! My 7th time trying to post this thing!! no pic's just yet
Married life... WOW.. its all I can say. I have to start off where I left in my last blog, and fast forward a few days.

BIG thanks to my new Sis, Bro in-laws Michelle and Ryan! Helped out MAJOR with last minute important things! Ric & Barbara for places for all our friends, honeymoon search and wedding band overnighting! MAN! Get-er-done... THATS what happened.

Friday: The rehearsal dinner was AMAZING! A cute little place right off the Pier in Hermosa called Sangria. So SO artsie, the food was amazing, atmosphere was fantastic, all the most precious people to me made it. That's all that mattered to me. It was a bit of a blur with all the gifts to be handed out. But I LOVED all the photos being taken, the conversations being talked. Everyone had such a good time. Thankfully Dorothy went and got my wedding dress from the cleaners! Cause they closed way before we were done with the dinner.

Saturday: Morning we had the rehearsal, but we had to jet RIGHT after to get my wedding band that was being sized. CUTTING it short is not stated big enough. We barely got there and pulled in front jumped out before they closed. Oh btw, did I say what perfect weather it was? Perfect fit.

Saturday night? Oh my.. I can't even remember, I think there was a dinner party at the house.. yes there was.. SO many peeps. I ran upstairs to create the wedding programs. LOVED em! I made them from scratch and THANK goodness for Mac Computers, the Middlekauff's have one in their CA home as well, so I whipped up a beautiful program in no time and started printing them out.

Sunday morning!!!! SO EXCITED! Had breakfast with Juli and Herb and Joannie. Walked around tried to find a place to do my brows but NO ONE was around! BTW, Hermosa Beach is basically closed on Sunday, cause everyone has gone surfing. The lady who was suppose to do my brows didn't even show for my appointment. So Michelle.. THANK goodness for her plucked em.

Sunday Afternoon: Amanda and Jan totally make me look BEAUTIFUL! Amanda is a great make-up-artist and she also did my jr brides maids make up too!! SO GOOD! Barbara rented a Beautiful Short Limo to pick me up.. BUT he ended up in Manhattin Beach!! I was standing there in my Wedding Gown with no driver! I stood there for what seemed like an eternity! A group of people came down to the front lobby and oh goodness.. thankfully it was Juli, Herb and some other friends. I about gave up my limo for a car ride asap! But finally it came, and Jan and Amanda loaded me up and I would have been all alone, but Juli (my new mom-in-law) totally stepped up t the place. I was so thankful she came with me. We talked about so many wonderful things, we laughed, cried, and talked about God. I was so thankful. Considering also that my mom and dad didn't care to come.

We get there, MAGIC! pictures, pictures THEN Drue hadn't seen me... the meeting was perfect. The photographer had him stand at the base of the stairs facing the opposite way.. I walked down.. slowly, the camera dude stood right in front of Drue to get a good photo then.. tap tap tap.. on the shoulder, he turns around.. ALL SMILES! Tears and giggling. So wonderful. We did that for about 3 minutes... Then time for family pictures!

This is where I would have been left with no body... BUT my WONDERFUL Aunt Tina and Uncle Mark graciously accepted my invite to stand in for my mom and dad. SO did the REST of the fam too! My Aunt Mary and her Son her Daughter and Daughter's family. Tiana (cousin) is so cool! I love the Clark Family. Also the Proctor kids too (cousins from Aunt Tina Uncle Mark) God did provide for me. From Family, to finances. YES, HE is good. HIS love endures FOREVER!

Drue and I went upstairs to eat alone and to have communion with Matt Mungle, our dear friend and officiant! It was so chill upstairs. Just for a moment, we wanted to have a little moment to look at each other and not worry about visiting. Just a moment to actually grasp what was happening. Then time for communion, it was so beautiful! After running downstairs and visiting a little it was time for me to run upstairs and get into my gown! Ok I have to back up, I arrived, remember, in my wedding dress, but after pictures, I had to get out of my wedding dress and into my evening dress.. here is where it got funny. Barbara (my other mom in law) tried to undo the back of the dress, but I got all stuck in it.. ok, I forgot my underwear, cause I packed everything!! I saw Jan outside the window and banged on it until I was able to call Jan up asap! Before I knew it I was halfway stuck outta my wedding dress naked! ARGH!! HOW EMBARRASSING! Thankfully Jan walked in and I could do was hope she could help me out! She did. LOL! Thank God! So fast forward, its time to get back into, that was a lot smoother. Now, my Uncle walks up.. and its all smooth and chill now. I look up at him and said "is there any words of wisdom you have for me? with a smile. He smiled, this is your day Eimi, you walk down that isle slow, take your time, bask in it. Remember it, and just walk slow. I'll help you. He took my arm and we started our walk down the stairway to the back fo the building. Phil Wickham's song, Always Forever was playing... First verse, Guys stand up front, chorus, get ready, second verse girls walk down, second chorus.. I enter. I didn't expect what happened next.. shouts of joy! Everyone was cheering me on and smiling with cheers! Aned my Uncle Mark, he just walked ever so slow, helping me to walk slow and take it all in . I smiled so big! I loved every step! Loved looking over and seeing my cousins, seeing my close friends all smiling. Then, to look up at my soon to be husband, it was breathtaking. He smiles at me and matt asked, who gives this bride away? Uncle Marks said "it is with great honor and pride, that her family and I do!" He leaned over and kissed my cheek, reached for Drue's hand and placed my hand in his. I'm sure we said some funny things up there, because I remember the audience laughing at something I said, All I could do was smile and grin and giggle. It was so so surreal.

After the wedding... we drove to our hotel SO FREAKIN NICE!! We were so tired, but so excited. OK, I won't get graphic here but I'll share the sweetest part of that night. I told Drue to go sit on the bed. Cause from the bed, there was a framed window that went into the bathroom so it looked like I was in a balcony. GIRLS, we waited. it was HARD! Cause we really messed up before. But after 19 months of being abstinent we felt such a beauty about this night. We had been faithful, under the most difficult moments leading up to this night. And then.. there we were. Two tired people and happy to finally be alone. I stood in the frameway of the opening to the bed and unveiled. My Sweetheart just sat there and with tears coming down his face all he could say was "You're so beautiful". We both shed some tears and smiles and that's where I will end my "bedtime" story.

The rest of the Honeymoon just got better and better! I know, what could be better than a night of passion making???? Well, it got better. We took a Road trip up the coast.. stopped at Pismo Beach to a little cottage where we were greeted with a fireplace, coastal view and a cute cottage appeal atmosphere! Yes, more hot love making. WONDERFUL pizza was ordered cause its what we wanted. The next day, we drove to Monterey to a wonderful place called Spinndrift. Oh MY! TOP notch.. the ocean waves crashed beneathe our window since we were almost hanging over the ocean! Fireplace, and breakfast brought to our door every morning. That is where we started our morning ritual of breakfast and the Word. Thanks to my Uncle we got a 20% discount at the Fish Hopper. we walked to the Aquarium and enjoyed the otters and fresh sea life from a HUGE freakin window into the ocean.

the next day we had more seafood (btw, I ate SO MUCH seafood that trip, my pee literally smelled like seafood! ahhahah!!) and took a walk around the little town OH SO CUTE! LOVED all the cute shops and nooks and crannies. Everyday was so perfect. Absolutely nothing went wrong and no responsibilities was so nice to experience after 10 months of planning. I hated to leave, loved every night of learning my husband, every morning with seagulls and otters and a mini banquet for breakfast. Everyone spoke English and we were happily Newly Weds!

Coming home was nice too, started my new job and found it hard though.. to come from 3 weeks of not working. My husband (hehhe) is gone right now, on tour with Manafest and will be back on Sunday. I miss him!!!! Booohoooohooo!!! Sleeping alone is not fun! I miss my Druebedoo (as Jan calls him haha).

SO the drive back from our honeymoon was EVEN MORE FUN! ok.. I know, I have to end this story, but one more thing, we stopped at this place called The Bakery. Its right off of hwy 1. Oh MY! Its in the boondocks, but my my.. 5 star in the middle of forested growth. Exquisite mushroom soup! Fresh soft lettuce for salad! I say soft, but it was more like velvet. Just perfect. its a little more than your normal casual place, but well worth it. Next door was a little shop for local artist. Bought some cute chop sticks there, and saw an artist who's name is... get this.. Amy Hall. I laughed. I can't wait to go back to Calif! Wonderful Honeymoon for Sure. even Better wedding! So much better than I could have imagined!

AGAIN with the making me cry!!! You write beautifully, and every line of this gives an amazing picture of your wedding day. I could almost see you walking down the aisle...and hear the cheers for your long awaited "happily ever after". It really does read like a lovely novella....hmmmm....perhaps you should jot down the events leading up to all this, as well as your married life...and we could be reading the amazing true story of the love of Drue and Eimi off the bestseller list!

Congratulations again.

Hey Eimi, I know we have never met in person, but I will definitely be at your next show after I get back from South Africa. I know we have just talked over the internet, and though I have met Drue and Kayla but not personally you, I just want to say that the more I hear you and the more I read from you, the more inspired I feel. Just the stuff that you write about seems not so far from my story in some aspects, so I guess reading some of your stuff makes me emotional sometimes. You are a star, and to be honest, I dont think God could have been smarter than to create this strange connection between us through random people. Thanks for words you write that you dont even know effect random little people that read them. You shine, and God and I both appreciate it. Your writing in this blog alone was beautiful, and cute and funny. And I love that you arent bashful with what matters, and loving people.
: )

All i can say is YOU ROCK : ) hahaha

thanks and i hope we talk more often
