Happy Fall y'all
I'm all tan from performing out in Cherry Grove, Fire Island where I was so thrilled to hang with the PT Barnum of nightlife Daniel Nardicio and his charming minions.  With Waxy Moon in for a quick getaway from Seattle and World Famous *Bob*, we had an impromptu workshop for some up and coming Boylesque performers who gave their all at the Underwear Party show.  They were all so sexy and it thrilled me to see them really concentrating on the notes we gave them that day. 
 I saw some amazing shows at the Ice Palace from World Famous *Bob*'s One Man Show to the crazy poolside Jerry Lewis Telethon of Drag where Logan Hardcore and Dallas Dubois tagged teamed us till we had to carb load just to finish watching the show.  Walking on the pathways of the Grove and seeing Bruce Michaels, Bella and Demitasse among others and casually chatting with Porsche before she started power housing some Janis Joplin is like coming home for me.  Fire Island is more than just a relaxing beach, when I'm there surrounded by all those talented people it's an inspirational retreat.
 I also had a quick stopover in Toronto last month with Starlight Burlesque where I performed at the Bloor Cinema and taught a workshop.  The ladies of Starlight were wonderful hosts and I was excited to discover that Honest Ed's discount store was down the street from the venue!  If you haven't seen it, it looks like a portal opened and it popped out from 1960s Reno Nevada.
 So that's what I did on my summer vacation and here's how I go back to school!  Don't miss some of these shows because there's some recession bargains!
