Praise Him Through the Night - because the song speaks of praising God regardless of how dark or challenging the circumstances are.  It has been praising and worshipping God inspite of how I feel and how things look that keeps my heart and mind fixed on God.  When we praise and worship God we are magnifying His awesomeness rather than what we see naturally.  Praise and Worship enables me to walk by faith rather than sight because there in God's presence I am continually reminded that HE is bigger and greater than any obstacle life may present me.  In times when I feel abandoned by life, overwhelmed by circumstance, disregarded by man, forgotten by family or hurt by loss, when I choose to worship God instead of wallowing in my feelings God strengthens my heart and reminds me that HE will never leave me, that He is ever present, that He has not and never will forget me and that I am loved by Him.  So yeah Praise Him Through the Night.  I must also give a shout out to you (LD) for song "Pressing On" because Praising Through the Night requires pressing on.  And if there were two words describing my mood this year they would be "Pressing On".
 

 

Hillsongs "At The Cross". I love this song because it speaks of what Jesus did for me inspite of myself. For me the cross of Jesus is where my life truly begins. It's where heaven kissed the earth for all mankind and Jesus in his goodness layed it all down for me. Glory! The singer repeats..." I know you love me....and I know you love me". There is no room for doubt or second guessing, it's been proven in the most unselfish way by Jesus! The cross is also a place of humilty. It's where we bow down low and interact, not just marvel at the one who was slain for our sins. Truly He knows all there is to know about me! Thanks for asking.
