i want to believe in karma

in both forms

A. in the sense that if i have ever done anything truly wrong to anyone

i would hope that karma has and will catch up to me.

and

B. in the form that being so humble when those have done me wrong will continue to work.

i had a moment of weakness for a while.

a time in which i would get excited and just flap my jaw about anything

i am careful now once again

i am still honest

but if people don’t ask then they don’t need to know.

all i can see when i look at angry hateful people is fright, and stupidity and confusion

like that of a chicken pecking at the wood of a chopping block because they know there is a worm wriggling somewhere deep within the rotting wood...then afterward staring blankly at this other chicken who is looking back at them from the inside of the freshly sharpened blade of a shiny red ax.

i am not a perfect individual i am flawed beyond all belief. But why after telling people this must they turn around and try to shove it in my face?

A dog lays behind a chain link fence...one eye opened one eye closed, idle and trying to rest. Just wanting to be happy and calm. One never wants to fight but cannot deny who they are and what time has made them become. It is the goal of every living creature ( especially this one ) to simply and be happy.

: The dog bites..do not stick your hand in the cage :
human looks at dog
dog wags its tail but bares its teeth
human sticks hand in cage
stupid human...

OUCH the dog bit me ... STUPID FUCKING BAD DOG YOU STUPID DOG WHY DID YOU BITE ME ?! You mother fucker i hate you !

The silly human is bleeding now...blood is running down their hand and soaking the sleeve on their 10 dollar walmart sweater...the bite really isnt that bad...but In shock the human is screaming profanities and kicking things. The veins are popping out of their neck and they are beat red in the face. All this shouting and anger actually makes the pain worse you know. If you could just calm down and deal with what just happened mentally then you might alright.

BUT the doggy was cute !! you didnt think the doggy would bite..even though the sign said it and it bared its teeth at you. !!! How dare the doggy bite you !!!

bohoo...life is full of doggy bites..

if you want a lap dog then go get one but dont be upset because you took a risk and lost

:shugs:

so now everyday you go up to the dogs yard and as your walking by you drag a stick along the chain wire fence, spit on the grass and make a nervous laugh...you smile because you feel as if ruining its sleep its getting revenge...

but you walk fast and you are constantly checking your ass to make sure the dog hasnt awoken

what are you trying to do? Do you want to be bitten again? Why do you feel you need revenge against something that you knew was going to hurt you in the first place ?

you think about that dog everyday it bothers you so much ...and the only way you would ever feel complete would be to hurt the dog just as bad as it hurt you.

but you cannot because the dog has no worries and spends its days lying in the sun. The dog is okay with the way it is ...why cant you be okay with it ? Dont force it to change...just dont pet a dog that will bite if you arent a masochist and dont like the feeling of pain...that dog is perfect for someone..

but you will never learn ... you will taunt the dog everyday until what? it bites again ? it says sorry ? it already apologized for the way it is in the form of a warning.

have you forgotten the the dog does not bark at all .... it only bites ?

True, some people will never learn no matter how much they're bit. Not because they love the pain but somehow, in their mind, they may think they'll get the upper hand some day and in an attempt to try and be the dominate one. This is truthfully something i know all too well from some of the types i used to run with. The ones who try to bring you down because they're already feeling that low.

And i think this song is very relevant to this: http://...com/5cglaw
How to live....

Happy Birthday,
------{@

There is no one, that is perfect. We all fall short. If one realizes their mistakes and their
hurtful dealings and ill gotten gains and truely makes an effort to change and holds no bitterness, towards others. You can escape Karma. This is a Universal Law and Reality.
Have a change of Heart is the definition of Repent.

"There is no one that is perfect"

On the contrary...when you do something that a sign clearly tells you not to do, and you get hurt because you disobeyed a warning, and you follow it up by trying to antagonize the dog?

That's being a Perfect A$$hole...and we're not referring to someone who's a Democrat!

Bumper Sticker I enjoyed:

Why are Democrats sexier than Republicans?

Because nobody goes into a singles bar hoping to have sex with the first piece of elephant that says yes...

I would counter this by stating another example. While it is always wise to learn from one's mistakes, and try better to avoid them in the future, giving up isnt always the answer either. If you fall of the horse the first time you try to ride, you must get back on again. This doesnt mean that you should try to pet the same dog that bit you, but it also does not mean that you can never again pet or even own any dog. You are of course right that getting angry doesnt accomplish much, definately doesnt help, and also right that nobody is perfect. All we can say is that we are human. Mistakes are made, sometimes one person is to blame, sometimes everyone shares in the blame. What is important is how we react, deal with those mistakes, learn from them, and move on. Perhaps karma is also affected by that.

Karma exists, Brookers. -- You know why?

Because you ARE where you are. -- And, why is that?

Not (specifically) because YouTube is an awesome place... But, honestly, I think you were meant to be wherever you are, and wherever you go.

You've inspired so many people, you've made millions of people laugh. -- If you were anything less than divine, then I'd like to know how you got that way.

Or, if ANYBODY is capable of being divine, then, I guess, what does it matter, whether there is something greater than ourselves, or whether we, ourselves, are that great thing.

The problem with America, the problem with the present world... Is that NOBODY believes in themselves. -- A very pretty but shy girl sent me a song, and she told me, "I don't have a very strong voice."

And I listened to it, and it was strong, and pure, and it was like an angel. --

I believe you are, too. -- What does it matter, whether or not angels exist... When WE can BELIEVE in EACH OTHER?

And then, hey, if there IS a God after all, then maybe he'd approve of it.

Just something everybody needs to think about. -- Glad you are, too.

The world needs to be changed. -- If nobody else is ever going to do anything about it, it MUST BE US!

We must be destined to fix the problem... For whatever reason, it REALLY doesn't matter. -- Just know, WE know, that there IS a solution that exists, there IS an end in sight...

And, it has nothing to do with violence. -- Fight WAR with PEACE and LOVE, FLOWERS and GUITARS!

When we fire upon them, they'll be blown away by our l33t haz0r sk1llz... Because we've been practicing, because WE haven't let OURSELVES be held down into their conformist system.

I dropped out of high school. -- I don't think anybody would tell me it was a bad idea, at this point.

AMERICA has a strategy of TYING DOWN -ANYBODY- who doesn't think the way THEY want to think. -- WE are the ones THINKING, we are the ones CARING about it.

It must be us. -- The meek will inherit the Earth.

They won't take it over. -- They'll just, one day, REALIZE that it's ALREADY THEIRS.

Fight oppression, stand up against everything that rubs your conscience the wrong way. -- To do ANYTHING less, is to deliberately prolong and worsen the situation.

We've been doing the same crap since Vietnam, we've been doing the same crap since Korea, we've been doing the same crap since World War II, we've been doing the same thing since World War II... We've been doing the same things for centuries and centuries, always being pitted against the other people.

Somebody figured out what we haven't, and, for WHATEVER REASON, they decided they would benefit MOST, if WE were always at war.

That is ANCIENT ROME. -- That is SPQR. -- That is why you must understand... [:S:]ome [:P:]eople [:Q:]uestion [:R:]eality.

You're already a dreamer... -- It's time to really start controlling the dream.

But, I don't know how you can think you can get from your little hometown, and end up on TV, and the internets, in Hollywood, everywhere in the world...

There you are. Yes, there is Brookers.

She can do ANYTHING. -- No, REALLY... Any freaking thing she sets her mind to.

She already has. -- She ALWAYS has.

She just didn't know it.

Wake up, Dorothy! KANSAS is waiting for you! And we are all just dust in the wind.

But, very, very powerful grains of dust. :)

Don't worry about it, just rock the world. You ARE doing the right thing.

Karma gives you a: +++++ (5/5) -- GOOD JOB!

Probably because you've never been an angry hateful person. Or that dog.

For some of us, it's the peaceful loving people who look frightened, stupid, and confused.

Exactly, it doesn't make sence to rely on Karma. Even I know that and I don't know the meaning of breitney spears lyrics, let alone the meaning of life !

Wooooe down dawgy! Some people have a hard time accepting things. They get angry and frustrated when things don't go thier way. Getting hurt by someone you care about is WAY more painfull then getting bitten by a dog. Everyone deals with thier pain in different ways. Some thrash about and scream, others accept it and deal with it. Pain of the heart is the worst pain there is...... it's very hard to deal with that pain.... and hey it's ok to get excited and flap your jaw. The people that matter will love you for it :) and the people that don't matter... well who cares about them, they don't care about you! :D

If you got bite by the snarling dog your just stupid. But getting bit by the dog that is nice and lets u pet it and just all the sudden turns on you is different. Why can't you get angry and bite the dog back.

Your right life is full of dog bites but life is not full of fairness bad things happen to good people and good things happen to horrible people. I believe in the end things work themselves out but thats the end. It all works out in the end so if its not working out its not the end.

But why not try to even the middle the crappy part when you can. I'm not saying go to any extremes. But someone calls you a jerk yeah call um a jerk back. There is no need to lose it and go crazy you can still calmly even the score. If karma did work it would be great and perfect but no cosmic justice is gonna bite that dog back.

The bite does teach a lesson and learning from painful experiences helps people grow and hopefully be better. But just because bad things happen doesnt mean that vengance coming from yourself can't be justified to an extent. A good person can tell where the line is obvoiusly you dont be horrible and shoot the dog but what the harm in a bite back? Then maybe the dog learns a lesson and you do as well leaving you both learning something to help you grow and be better.....

sorry might have rambled a bit i didn't sleep yet so i might not make sense stupid never being able to sleep... good day

Hi Brooke,
Its been a while, glad I checked your page tonight, I was looking for something to read.
Anyway, just make sure you wash the bite out with soap and water, apply some neosporin or other disinfectant to prevent infection and I'm sure you will be fine. As for the dog... I hear they love bisquits or if your feeling generous a nice left over bone. he he. (I'm speaking figuratively of coarse.)

Sometimes flaws have a tendency of being something positive.

The way I figure, the human defects as you will are the true you; Imagine if everyone had no flaws and were absolutely 100% perfect in everyway both physically and psychologically. In the end the world would be a dull and depressing place because everyone would walk and talk the same.

It's the different opinion's which all makes us clearly unique.

Now just because people may try to shove negative things back at you, does not mean that you should give in. Be proud of yourself and who you are and be proud of what have accomplished. Changing yourself is not the answer, but being your self is. Because people who care about you "LOVE" will oversee all evil.

Brooke you are truly a remarkable person, just be strong and no one can ever tie you down..

Happy Birthday BTW
