AS YOU MAY KNOW, I WENT TO SEE LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS IN CONCERT ON FRIDAY MARCH 30, IN PIGEON FORGE TN.

IT WAS A NASHVILLE LEGENDS CONCERT.. FEATURING HOST JIM ED BROWN, HELEN CORNELOUS,  JEAN SHEPARD, AND OF COURSE LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS.

THE SHOW WAS GREAT FROM START TO FINISH...JIM ED OPENED THE SHOW, FOLLOWED BY HELEN CORNELIOUS,  JEAN SHEPARD, AND JIMMY CLOSED THE SHOW.

HE WAS SO WONDERFUL, SUCH AN ENTERTAINER. THE JOKES AND SONGS WERE NON STOP.    IT WAS A NIGHT I WILL NEVER FORGET.

AFTERWARDS, I MET JEAN SHEPARD, A WONDERFUL LADY, JIM ED BROWN, AND OF COURSE LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS.

I HAD MY PICTURE TAKEN WITH HIM AND I WAS IN HEAVEN... SO PLEASE CHECK OUT MY PICTURE...... IT IS THE DEFAULT FOR THIS WEEK..... THEN BACK TO JUST JIMMY.. LIKE IT SHOULD BE....

AS ALWAYS... THE HEAD TATER HEAD...

Kevin,

You must be on top of the world.  I sooooo envy you.  I tried to find a way to meet Jimmy last time we were in Nashville.  But nothing.  We'd seen him 3 times prior at the Opry and I figured it wouldn't hurt to try, but couldn't get a response.  Hopefully some day!

He's truly a gem.

Good for you.  A time you'll not soon forget...

I was lucky enough to go on a Country Music trip to America last year organised by a dj here in Perth, Western Australia I was also lucky enough to meet a Buddy from the Buddy Jewels fan club and she got us tickets to see Buddy at the Opry and he also organised for us to go backstage so I could meet him after talking for a while in his change room we went to see some of the other artists playing that night then we went to the side of the stage where I met Bill Anderson, Jim Ed Brown, The Whites, then he went and knocked on this door and he let us in and there was this adorable cute little man. He was so sweet this night was the first time I'd ever been called Miss Lisa. Wow SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN r so polite.

I'm going to the Grand Ole Opry tomorrow night (04/18) and he's playing, along with a bunch of other bands... I'm looking forward to it!! I've never been there before, and I'm so excited!

Hi there! I have a photo of Jimmy with my Grandfather in front of an old car and a couple of other guys. My Grandfather went on to become a Baptist Preacher but I would sure love to know if this pic I have is really him with Jimmy. I dont suppose you know how to join a fan club or something and find out do you? Thanks Laura
