Everyday, people from all over the Capital Region pass through the historic doors of the Center to find support, camaraderie, resources, or simply to be who they are in a safe space.
I'm Nora Yates, the new Executive Director of the Capital District Gay & Lesbian Community Council (CDGLCC), the Capital Region's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Community Center. With your help we can make the Capital Region a more welcoming and supportive place for LGBT people, so all doors are open to us to live a healthy and productive life.
I am writing you as one of our supporters and community members, to tell you about a challenge another member of our community has proposed: they have volunteered to match your gift on a dollar-for-dollar basis if we receive it before September 1st, up to a total of $3,000.
