A New Life
The islands of Hawai'i Nei have been left far in the distance - our lives, once defined by the crashing waves against the rocky precipices has been transformed. While losing jobs tends to dampen the mood for a bit, it is easy and simple to see the gleaming reward at the end: something new is forged that not even I could predict. It is thus with pride and exultation that I announce the imminent appearance on stage of our newest and brightest star: our daughter. We expect her to make her grand entrance in the waxing weeks of October, and it will turn out to be a magical year, indeed. :)
Elegy Update! It is happening and it is nearly upon us. News will be forthcoming, that which will set the world on fire. Or, maybe, a small, five-square mile portion of it. :p
Shows and Stuff
With the holidays rapidly approaching, I feel it is only appropriate to announce my arrival to the Continental U.S. with the planning of a few shows. I realise that due to some rather exciting news (See "A New Life", above), I will be extraordinarily busy in the coming months, a show or two at least will be possible. I am making contacts and rounds as we speak, and should have a schedule up prior to the end of the month. Performances will include material from Horcri Latte as well as Elegy.
Wrock Rocks On
With the many events that have taken over my life the past six months, I have had time for contemplation. Contemplation about the end of the series, the coming end of the movies, and its importance to Wizard Rock in particular. I cannot begin to express the complex emotions that encircle those of us who have grown with Harry over the years, and likewise with this new musical format have explored horizons we never envisioned before. I, with many others, have been unduly blessed to be a part of this Wrock phenomenon, and believe that the end of Wrock is nowhere on the horizon. I have said it before, at stick by what I pledged: as long as one person wants to hear Wrock, I will write, play and produce. I wish you all the greatest, and look forward to now being able to devote significant portions of time to rejuvenate and renew my devotion to this wonderful art.
Squeefully yours, ~*Jon*~
