Although my page has been up and running for a few days, I have been avoiding memorializing my first blog entry.  Why?  Because of this crazy notion that my first entry should be really cool.  You know, something that will make the reader (as unlikely as it may be that I will have them) take notice.  Wow, that's a man who knows what's up.  I am a wiser, better person for having read that entry.  I have been thoroughly informed and entertained. 

Well guess what.  I have nothing useful or insiteful to write at the moment, but I will not be a prisoner to this stupid fear that my initial entry will fail to live up to some ridiculous, and ultimately pointless standard.  I will not succumb to the shackles of self-imposed expectations any longer.  For right or wrong, this is my first blog.
