Well, it's been an interesting week so far, I... wait, I meant to say screwed-up week. We got all this snow and apparently my school paid a small army to plow, shovel, and salt it away in our immediate vicinity - all throughout the night. This meant that while half of New Jersey was shut down, we were 'open for business.' No big deal, I stayed up all night, but at least I'll know what I'm talking about when that history test comes up, right? Well.... The matter was complicated by the fact that our professor wasted the first 10 minutes trying to get us to space ourselves apart in the lecture hall, to discourage cheating - even though she and her T.A. would be watching us like a hawk and I don't even need to or want to cheat. On top of that, the final essay stated it was worth 55% of the exam grade and had 50 minutes alotted - about 25 minutes in, she says "OK, you have about 5 minutes left." Nice of her to let us know, eh? So I finished off the last two paragraphs as best as I could, and let her know when she collected the form thatsomething was wrong here. Like she cares. According to her, it is "part of the experience." ...I could say something mean but I won't, I think enough of my friends' minds are as twisted as mine and can spout some apropos responses to her careless rhetoric.... So now I'm updating my LJ - oops, I mean my MySpace, eating a pop tart, and trying to think of how to resolve the issue of gradations of transparency in masonry structures for my project - that, or passing out from exhaustion! =)
