Just thinking about how major 7 chords are heavenly. I could climb inside an F Major 7 chord and take a nap. I was teaching and played a G major 7 , and thought wow, it is so beautiful.  I like cold play, cause the way they use the major 7, kind of like The Beatles. Of course Jimmy Page knows how to use them. I like F and C major 7's together. Then of course you have D Major into D Major 7, very nice. Hope this was insightful.
