This post is specifically for those that read my article "How to Find a Legitimate Home Business". In it I explained how different income programs work, but I did not give you any resources to start with. In this post, I will do that for you. If you didn't read my article, you may still benefit from the detailed information here.
Paid-to-Read EmailsEmail Cash Pro is the first program I signed up for. It pays 1 point per email, and the points are converted to cents, 1 cent per point, 6 times a year. You don't get a whole lot of emails, so it will take a while to accumulate, but when you get at least $11, you can cash out. It becomes more lucrative when you get people to sign up under you in an affiliate program. The nice thing about this program is that they don't flood your email!
Email Pays U pays $.02 per email for some, and 2 points for others. I'm not sure how the points work exactly, but they do convert to cash from time to time--but I think only after you reach a certain amount of cash from the paid emails. One very nice feature is that they actually start you out with a $10 account balance, but the first time you must reach a balance of $50 before you can cash it out. After that you can cash out at $15. They also have a referal program, and if you join at the Gold Pro level, it can become reasonably lucrative. They have an added bonus; if you sign up for the Ad Cash emails, you earn $.10 an email that goes into a fund for you to advertise through them. It's slow, but it could be worth it.
Paid SurveysIn general, most of the paid survey companies out there will give you a survey to complete, and often you have to sign up for some offer to be able to get the money. For example, they might pay you $20 to get a sample of ABC Skin Lotion. In order to get the bonus, you have to request the sample--and pay for shipping. However, shipping might be $5, so you earn a net of $15. It should never cost you more in shipping than you are earning, so you will always make a profit. Some have very low payout and don't require you to pay for any shipping or anything like that. However, keep in mind that you must reach a limit before you can cash out your earnings. The limit varies with the companies.
Panda Research sends you an email every few days that gives you a list of surveys that match your interests. Or you can go to the website and see the list of options. They give you $5 to begin. If you refer people, you get $5, but they don't give you a referal link, so you have to refer directly (by punching in their names and emails). This is the only one I really like.
Other online survey companies will give you benefits like coupons in exchange for taking surveys. This could be beneficial to you, but only you can know for sure.
In general, if you are interested in making money online with surveys, I would recommend starting with one company at a time, and give it 2-3 days to see if you like it before you add another. Otherwise you will get overwhelmed with emails. Also, you should consider opening another email account to deal with this--otherwise it could overrun your current email and make messages from family and friends hard to find.
Google Cash ProgramsThe best course I have found to teach you how to earn cash with Google Adwords is the
Type-At-Home system. It costs $49 to join, but they promise a refund if you aren't happy with it. Besides this, they also list a number of other work-from-home options and explain how they work. If you take one of these methods and run with it, it will be worth the $49 investment. If you decide you aren't interested, you can always request the refund.
Networking and Marketing ProgramsPay It Forward 4 Profits is one of the best out there. They have a step-by-step success guide that teaches you exactly what you must do to be successful as a network marketer. It is free to join and you can read the whole success guide, if you want to, before deciding where to start investing your money. I personally like their system, because they explain in detail every step to take. Even if I didn't get involved in the companies they recommend, I could still benefit from the information. They help you build that list that is so crucial to success in marketing.
Reality Networkers is a company that I probably would have joined if I hadn't first gotten into Pay It Forward 4 Profits. They give you a 2-weeks free trial. This company has something for just about every personality, and once you decide to join, it only costs $25--and usually by that time, you will have more than that coming to you. Also, it's a one-time fee, not a monthly fee. To get your first bonuses, though, you will need to refer 5 people. This is possible, but you will probably need to invest some money in advertising to acheive it.
These are two that I would recommend, based on my experience with them. There are probably dozens of other legitimate ones, but I don't want to go overboard and spread myself too thin at this point. I would recommend that if you are looking into this option, that you pick one or the other of the above programs and stick with it long enough to decide if you like it or not before trying something else.
