I have just discovered that at least one survey company pays! I went on a 5-day vacation, and when I got back, I had a notice in my email that I had been paid $5 for a survey I did in February (they warned it could take about 10 weeks or so to process the payment). It's with PSBSurveys.com. They send out a few surveys every month, and if you qualify for the survey (like, if you're not a parent, surveys about children wouldn't do), then they pay you for your opinion. Not much, but it's something, anyhow.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
