God, am I out of practice! I've been working on a bunch of Remus & Tonks art and none of it is really to my liking.

I have the art prompts "warm" and "cold" for the Metamorfic Moon Last Chance Full Moon Showdown and I did these for them:

(Cold) "So Cold"-- surrealistic, dreamlike, not nearly like I saw in my head . WTF is up w/ Remus' wolf?! I meant to get a good contrast but it's just ugly, not scary. And perhaps I should have used watercolor instead of colored pencil...

(Warm) "Heat of the Moment"-- kind of pre-or-fledgling romance, one of those "aha!" moments when they're realizing their mutural attraction, I think... And in crayon! No idea why I love crayons. They're just...fun. Remus ended up kind of pudgy. My excuse is that he's in love, happy, and eating plenty of Molly Weasley's good cooking.

Finally, I have a new Deviant Art profile with more art... I'm planning on uploading some older (ahem, better) stuff sometime soon because all the crap I have there is definitely not my best work. Of course, going from creating art every day to once or twice a year certainly hasn't helped.
